You have totally lost me. Who is contradicting what? Or, what's contradicting who?"Jesus loves me this I know, for the Bible tells me so."
I simply don't believe Jesus contradicts what the Bible records of Him.

Are you identifying as a gnostic? Tell us more.Gnosticism emerged in the late 1st century AD among Jewish and early Christian sects. These groups emphasized personal spiritual knowledge (gnosis) over traditional teachings and religious authority.
Yes. The two should work in tandem. Supporting each other. What strange logic it is that decides this should conflict with having an instruction manual known as the Bible.
I have made a forum career out of examining such things. Which has often branded me as an unbeliever. The Bible has truth, but it remains hidden because, despite what so many claim, people don't want to reexamine the proof-texts which have been thrown at them for a very long time.
I guess as believers in the Creators, many have become so zoomed in that all they can see and will consider is one particular book. As one who was guilty of being so narrow focused, I had missed out on so much other knowledge of God, from God.The bible, when opened in order to validate beliefs, must be seen with open eyes and in search of truth.
That is why proper hermeneutics must be taught. Man has a real problem with exegesis - which requires much more honesty and examination that eisegesis - which is how to many doctrines have been established by man.

So, does God provide truth? He already did. Then does He guide us into seeing and understanding what has already be written? Absolutely,
I don't expect Yahweh to write more to add to the scriptures - so it is a complete book - at least the manuscripts are. Our translations often don't match the thoughts given in the manuscripts. God simply responds to our prayers for truth USING the manuscripts for truth.
How would you react to those who take your advice but end up with revelations that contradict your own?Since zooming out, I have been able to explore new truth and receive new revelation of our Creators Themselves, what They are doing and what They are going to do in the future.
It is absolutely fantastic and I would encourage everyone to be open to be led by the Spirit to looking more broadly.
Personally I love being out in nature and looking out for what the Spirit is communicating to me. With no bible in sight. I would say that probably every time, He informs me of new things. It's awesome.
If that's too extreme for you, take a bible with you until you can go without it. Be assured that the Spirit will be accompanying you. If you have ears to hear He will communicate with you directly and you will receive new revelation.
Not me. Guess who!Are you identifying as a gnostic? Tell us more.
Here, grab hold:You have totally lost me. Who is contradicting what? Or, what's contradicting who?
I have no problems with that as I trust in the Spirit to tell people what they need to hear individually and for the church. How would you react to those who take your advice but end up with revelations that contradict your own?

I replied to this post on the other topic.I have no problems with that as I trust in the Spirit to tell people what they need to hear individually and for the church.
Like Joshua and Caleb for instance.
What you say does not match the Bible. Satan will be destroyed Eze 28. Didn't you say he was forgiven and given a seat or do i have you mixed up with someone else?Yes
Technically the Creators didn't write anything on scrolls. They did write things on a table of stone.
Humans documented things on scrolls. Other humans over a period of time after much debate came up with at least 3 canons which they closed. One containing 73 books, another with only 66 books and another with 81 books. You can take your pick.
I'm not sure I'm following you here. Why would God tell me something different?
It's not a case of "one particular book" as much as it is a case of letting the spirit of God reveal to us how to understand the bible translations that we have. There are many doctrines, many mistranslated words and phrases, and many proof-texts that deceive us if we don't allow God to validate things for us and show us the passages that clear up our understanding.I guess as believers in the Creators, many have become so zoomed in that all they can see and will consider is one particular book. As one who was guilty of being so narrow focused, I had missed out on so much other knowledge of God, from God.

Can you be more specific?Satan will be destroyed Eze 28.
Yes it sure is!! The first part-- but read on. Who is HE talking about here:Can you be more specific?
Ezekiel 28 is a prophecy against the King of Tyre.
