It doesn't mean "you'll observe the Sabbath"--they were already observing that "shadow", so, if that's all the "shadow" referred to, it has no fulfillment, and Christ would not be fulfilling it.
I'm very familiar with "types" and "shadows." In fact, I base my Bible studies mostly spiritually (Mark 4:33-34; 11-13).

11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all [these] things are done in parables:
12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and [their] sins should be forgiven them.
13 And he said unto them, Know ye not this parable? and how then will ye know all parables?

A parable is an earthly story with a heavenly meaning.

Speaking of the sabbath ( REST ) under the old covenant....

Hebrews 4:8-11
For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.
There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

The rest New Testament believers are called to is... to abide IN Christ, living by faith and faith is action!

It has nothing to do with counting Saturday to be the only holy day of the week anymore... it's about us living our entire lives IN Christ as we are not out own we've been bought with a price

The doubtful ("if given") rest spoken of here in Hebrews 4:8 is obviously not that of the weekly Sabbath, but of entering into the settlement rest of Canaan from wandering in the wilderness—unless we're supposed to believe that wandering in the wilderness was somehow symbolic of Sabbath rest, which is nowhere suggested in Scripture.

The Heavenly Canaan of rest which we as well as they did need, is the rest from sin and selfish works (the transgression of the law) that comes from receiving and abiding in Christ.

And so far from excluding the weekly Sabbath rest, it commands it.

Those who stubbornly (not ignorantly) insist upon a special, engraved, New Testament invitation to do as God has already invited and commanded are preparing to fail the end-time test of loyalty to Him.

There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.

There is nothing in this definition of the word "rest" as used in verse 9 to suggest the alteration of abrogation of the 4th commandment as it literally reads—which is why no reputable Bible scholar seeks to do so.

For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.
Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

The meaning here in verses 10 and 11 is obvious, in light of the above explanation of verses 8 and 9.

The rest New Testament believers are called to is... to abide IN Christ, living by faith and faith is action!

Stuff and nonsense, as usual
