Hebrews 12:29
For our God is a consuming fire.

Deuteronomy 32:22
For a fire is kindled in My anger,
And shall burn to the [g]lowest [h]hell;
It shall consume the earth with her increase,
And set on fire the foundations of the mountains.

2 Samuel 22
8 “Then the earth shook and trembled;
The foundations of [c]heaven quaked and were shaken,
Because He was angry.
9 Smoke went up from His nostrils,
And devouring fire from His mouth;
Coals were kindled by it.
10 He bowed the heavens also, and came down
With darkness under His feet.
11 He rode upon a cherub, and flew;
And He [d]was seen upon the wings of the wind.
12 He made darkness canopies around Him,
Dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
13 From the brightness before Him
Coals of fire were kindled.
14 “The Lord thundered from heaven,
And the Most High uttered His voice.
15 He sent out arrows and scattered them;
Lightning bolts, and He vanquished them.
16 Then the channels of the sea were seen,
The foundations of the world were uncovered,
At the rebuke of the Lord,
At the blast of the breath of His nostrils.

Psalm 18:8
Smoke went up from His nostrils, And devouring fire from His mouth; Coals were kindled by it.

Psalm 106:18
A fire was kindled in their company; The flame burned up the wicked.

Matthew 7:19
Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire.

Mark 9:49
“For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.

Luke 12:49
“I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled!

Romans 12:20
Therefore “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; If he is thirsty, give him a drink; For in so doing you will heap coals of fire on his head.”

Judgment Day! When the Lord returns, He will judge the world in righteousness

Acts 17:31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead.”

1 Cor 3

9 For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. 10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it. But let each one take heed how he builds on it. 11 For no other foundation can anyone lay than that which is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 Now if anyone builds on this foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw, 13 each one’s work will become clear; for the Day will declare it, because it will be revealed by fire; and the fire will test each one’s work, of what sort it is. 14 If anyone’s work which he has built on it endures, he will receive a reward. 15 If anyone’s work is burned, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Matthew 3:12
His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.”

Eagles-Vultures, have you seen them feeding on the dead bodies?
Can't be the church of the dead bodies.
The slain of the Lord at His return will be many.

First off, is the context of the scriptures, which is always important.

Luke 17:36
  • "Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
  • And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together."

The context is that Christ says one will be taken, and the apostles ask where. The Lord answers by the cryptic language declaring "Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together." Thus He has answered their question of where the believers (those taken) will be taken to. It is clear these are the unbelievers left, and the elect taken. And his answer to the question shows where. ..to judge the body.

And do you even understand what the Eagle represents in Scripture?

The eagle is symbolic of the Lord's people, who take on "His" Characteristics. Thus they are both protected, and have judgment. "Know ye not that we shall judge Messengers," 1st Cor 6:3. This is the same elect who have power to shut heaven that it rain not, and have power over waters to turn them to blood. Because they have Spirit of God in them and come with the word of God in their mouths.

Revelation 12:14
  • "And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent."

The woman is CHURCH. As the great old hymn, "Flee as a bird to your mountain, thou who art weary of sin."

Psalms 11:1
  • "In the Lord I take refuge. How then can you say to me: Flee like a bird to your mountain."
We dwell in the spiritual mountains as eagles, and this because we are representative of God, and thus we take on the characteristics of God. Just as the passages in Job . Not vultures, but eagles [aetos], because they are characteristic of God's protection and judgment.

Revelation 4:6-8

  • "And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
  • And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
  • And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come."
This image of the four living creatures symbolically represents certain diverse characteristics of God. The Lion, the lamb, the man and the flying eagle [aetos]. Likewise, His elect are also characterized as these same creatures. And that is why they are the ambassadors of God, sent with the word that judges. The word against this body as that which brings death.

When the AoD (abomination of desolation) is set up, the great tribulation begins and lasts for 1335 days.

But this is not the Lord's body of believers, these are the slain. Where are they taken? Just like Christ said of the great flood which took them all away, to destruction.

Your claim of 3 comings of Jesus is 100% false, Jesus will appear a second time unto salvation (The End)

Your pre-trib rapture is a false teaching started by John N. Darby 1830's and promoted to the world by C.I. Scofields 1909 reference Bible that maintained Darby's teachings in the margins, selling millions of copies worldwide "Deception"

Hebrews 9:28KJV
28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
...and yet you guys have no idea of rev14:14 and tge one taken/ one left behind.

So yes in your world of omission you can magically make the 3 into one.

With no red flags!

The Darby rabbit trail can not help you with scripture.
Nor can I pointing out your celebration of the ancients you invoke to diminish God's word do much to help my argument.

The only difference being you claim to have men originate your doctrine.

Plain ridiculous.

Yes.

Revelation 19:17-18 corresponds to Ezekiel 39:17-20.

17 And, thou son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD; Speak unto every feathered fowl, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh, and drink blood.

18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan.

19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you.

20 Thus ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD.

Rev 14 though shows us the saints of Christ are on the earth while the Satanic beast wages his devastations.
And v14 is the rapture of the saints afterwards-during.

And v17 is the destruction of the wicked.

9 Then a third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, “If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives his mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he himself shall also drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out full strength into the cup of His indignation. He shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 And the smoke of their torment ascends forever and ever; and they have no rest day or night, who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.”

12 Here is the [g]patience of the saints; here[h] are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

13 Then I heard a voice from heaven saying [i]to me, “Write: ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’ ”

“Yes,” says the Spirit, “that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

Reaping the Earth’s Harvest

14 Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. 15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, “Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come [j]for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.” 16 So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

Reaping the Grapes of Wrath

17 Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle.

18 And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, “Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe.” 19 So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God. 20 And the winepress was trampled outside the city, and blood came out of the winepress, up to the horses’ bridles, for one thousand six hundred [k]furlongs.

Right. That lines up with what Paul taught in 1 Thessalonians 4:14-5:3. The same day that we are caught up to meet the Lord in the air, "sudden destruction" of God's wrath will come upon all unbelievers from which "they shall not escape".

Well if you are amil I will leave you to it.
There aren't any amils that can unpack romans 11 or Rev 14:14.
The facts of the 144k being ethnic Jewish firstfruits is destroyed by that doctrine.

Romans 11 of the Jews grafted back in is also destroyed.
Maybe you are not amil.
If so we can discuss it like adults.

( I saw SI rooting for you, so no doubt you are part of that inversion tag team )
Oh well.

Lord...

Where do you see that I said God will judge His Elect? No, it is the corporate or external believers who are in charge. The Elect are taken by God as they come out of Babylon to avoid her plagues. They stand "afar", witnessing the judgment of the Church. Ie. gather together as EAGLES (judgment). Babylon the Great represents that dead body which we, the Elect, gather together to prophesy against. It is a spiritual mountain, a spiritual city, the judgment is by the word of the elect that Babylon is fallen, and the eagles are those whom the Lord is talking to to reward her even as she rewarded them. How dis she (the Church) reward the elect, and how is the elect to reward her in kind? That's the question.

In refence to the verse Luke 17:37

STRONGS G105:
ἀετός, -οῦ, ὁ (like Latin avis, from ἄημι on account of its wind-like flight [cf. Curtius, § 596]) [from Homer down], in the Sept. for נֶשֶׁר, an eagle: Revelation 4:7; Revelation 8:13 (Rec. ἀγγέλου); Revelation 12:14.
In Matthew 24:28; Luke 17:37 (as in Job 39:30; Proverbs 30:17) it is better, since eagles are said seldom or never to go in quest of carrion, to understand with many interpreters either the vultur percnopterus, which resembles an eagle (Pliny, h. n. 10, 3 "quarti generis — viz. aquilarum — est percnopterus"), or the vultur barbatus. Cf. Winers RWB under the word Adler; [Tristram, National History of the Bible, p. 172ff].

The meaning of the proverb [cf. examples in Wetstein on Matthew, the passage cited] quoted in both passages is, 'where there are sinners (cf. πτῶμα), there judgments from heaven will not be wanting'.

Mat 24:28
For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

Carcase is dead meat

Mat 24:28
For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

The KJV translates Strong's G4430 in the following manner: dead body (3x), carcase (1x), corpse (1x).
Outline of Biblical Usage [?]
  1. a fall, downfall
    1. metaph. a failure, defeat, calamity
    2. an error, lapse into sin
  2. that which has fallen
    1. the fallen body of one dead or slain, a corpse, a carcase
Strong’s Definitions [?](Strong’s Definitions Legend)
πτῶμα ptōma, pto'-mah; from the alternate of G4098; a ruin, i.e. (specially), lifeless body (corpse, carrion):—dead body, carcase, corpse.

So these 2 verses
  1. Matthew 24:28
For wherever the carcass is, there the eagles will be gathered together.
In Context | Full Chapter | Other Translations
  2. Luke 17:37
And they answered and said to Him, “Where, Lord?” So He said to them, “Wherever the body is, there the eagles will be gathered together.”

are speaking of the dead corpses to be eaten by the birds, slain by the Lord at His return.

So is dead church. :p

Oh well.
Commentaries on the 144,000

Gebhardt emphatically dissents from the limitation of the one hundred and forty-four thousand to converted Israelites: “Neither the Jews in contrast with the Gentiles, nor the Christian Jews in distinction from the Christian Gentiles, but Christians, the true Israelites, whether Jews or Gentiles. The twelve tribes of the children of Israel are therefore identical with the people of God; only the latter are described in O. T. style, or typically, and as a living great organism.” “Where the purpose is to confirm Christians in their confidence in God, or to impress on their mind their high dignity, they are represented as the true Israel, as the numbered or chosen one hundred and forty-four thousand.” So Philippi (Kirch. Glaubenslehre, iv. iii. 251): “The one hundred and forty-four thousand sealed out of all the tribes of the children of Israel are not only Christians among the Jews, upon which see Calov., Ewald, De Wette, Hengstenb., Klief., etc.; but rather the entire congregation of believers is meant, the true spiritual Israel, who have been preserved from all the plagues to be inflicted on the world.” Beck also argues against the view advocated by our author, but regards those sealed as elect persons among believers: “The υἱοι Ἰσραηλ here mentioned are ancient Israel as little as Jerusalem in the Apocalypse is ancient Jerusalem, or as little as, in general, the temple, altar, candlesticks, Balaam, Jezebel, Jews, etc., above, designate the ancient historical objects and persons; but the latter are only the types of that which corresponds in the Christian congregation. So the name Israelites here is likewise typical. The twelve tribes of the children of Israel, from whom the choice is made, have, in the Apocalypse, their metropolis in the New Jerusalem, which, according to Revelation 21:12; Revelation 21:14, has the names of the twelve tribes of Israel on its doors, and is built upon the foundation of the twelve apostles. The name of this new Jerusalem, as the N. T. city of God, is, according to Revelation 3:12, stamped, together with the name of the N. T. God (my God, i.e., Jesus Christ), and, therefore, with the seal of God here mentioned with respect to the children of Israel, upon those who, by fidelity to the word of Jesus Christ, have proved conquerors in the time of trial. Thus it is also expressly said of the one hundred and forty-four thousand designated in Revelation 14:3, that they were ‘purchased from the earth,’ or (Revelation 7:4) ‘from among men,’ from humanity, and, therefore, not merely from the Jewish nation; cf. Revelation 5:9. In the Apocalypse, the entire development of the kingdom is stated universally. It has thus, also, nothing whatever to do with a particularistic national sphere, or with the history of a particular people, but with the universal national sphere, with the universal judgment and universal salvation, and, therefore, with a universal and not a partial, holy nation; cf. Revelation 10:11. But this conception is conformable also to the N. T. fundamental view. According to this, there is awarded to ancient Israel, indeed, the first participation in universal grace (Romans 1:16; Romans 11:25-32), but no such particular preference as the sealing before the plagues, so that, therefore, all Gentile Christians must be subject thereto. The national distinction between Jew and Gentile, the distinction of the flesh, is removed in the fellowship of the new covenant (John 10:16

Which lines up with this....

Revelation 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, King Of Kings, And Lord Of Lords. 17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God; 18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
