Okay, I'm giving this one away.

The fall and break were five ~ Night fall, day break.
After that, I came alive ~ after the fifth day = six
I found a friend in me, at my side for eternity ~ Eve

I was not born, yet I had 3, who looked pretty much like me ~ Adam

The answer is ADAM :)

I had excluded Adam and Eve because "fall and break" made me think of the fall of man in that context. Which came after the "five," instead of before.

That answer actually flashed across my mind, but for some reason I rejected it. Oh well like I said I'm not very good at these things.
