I am heavy hearted as one of my favorite teachers passed away yesterday. I Know his soul is well and at home with The Father. I will miss him.

Yes Rita, I felt the same when Chuck Missler died about two years back. So final for us...but they both are starting their awesome TRUE life! I will miss both of them and their teachings, debates and such.

I am a Ravi Zacharias supporter. In going through the mail they said nothing about failing health. I will miss his ministry and keep them in prayer.
Oh no, I never met him, lol...I have been listening to lot's of his teachings and debates for years now and have grown very fond of him.
He was born in India.
he spoke on UCB radio and was a really good preacher.
They found malignant tumor on his sacrum while doing back surgery, and it was eventually found to be un-treatable.
He also spoke at The Mormon Tabernacle...here is a 7 minute clip of it. He had such a kindness about him.

Very much so. He got a stand ovation and was welcomed back.
If logistics would have permitted, I would have been one of those people giving the standing ovation (as it was, I gave my cheering in another state after watching the video).
Isn't he just so full of grace? Not an arrogant bone in his body far as I could see. I really enjoyed his teachings and his kindness.

Ravi has been such an important part of our family. My wife was good friends with two of his sisters when they worked together in Toronto waaay back in the mid 1960s. His cousin was pastor of the church my son attended; and just a couple weeks before the bad new was announced, my son gave me one of Ravi's books, "Jesus Among Other Gods", 2000.
It has always a delight to listen to his teachings.
Ohhh.... God has changed his address. He fought the good fight of faith. He has finished the race.
