Although I have these diagnoses, I have virtually no symptoms any more...it is as though I am completely healed by the Lord.

Maybe He even has healed me...but I wouldn't know it (see Hosea 11:3b) because my family requires me to take my medicine under threat of certain things known to me and them.

My good behaviour is attributed by them to the medicine....I give the glory to God the Holy Ghost.

Stop and think for a moment; if we will never stop sinning, then discipline is moot. Chastening someone for something they will never stop doing is a waste of time.

Common sense should awake you to the fact that men are capable of ceasing from evil doing. But when you believe that you will escape hell no matter what you do, where’s the motivation to stop sinning? Where’s the incentive to forsake all for Christ? Why bother carrying a cross for the Lord? Why suffer in the flesh (1 Peter 4:1)?

God puts people through specific Chastisements for specific Sins. Like the guy who was sleeping with his step mother .The sin was obvious. God’s Specific Chastisement for that specific sin was to be kicked out of the church... God’s Chastisement was just what the Dr. ordered.....the man abandoned his sin and the church happily welcomed him back....perhaps later on , the man exhibited “ other” sins in his life.If so , and if God deemed it necessary, God had the option to chastise the poor guy again . The man might not like it....he might not understand it , but God , like any loving Father , will discipline his children because he Loves them! It is for there own good!
You wonder what the “ incentive” is for living a God- pleasing life if you are not dangling over the pits of hell every second of your life with “ a mean old man in the sky” just itching to damn you forever if you commit the slightest sin?
Try to imagine this scenario —- I know it’s tough, but just “try” it. For once .
You hear the ” Good News” Of 1Cor15:1-4..... it says that “ Jesus died for you sins” .....Now, lets pretend to take that at Face-Value. If Jesus died for my Sins , how can I go to Hell ? There would be no sins of mine to take me there because all of my Sins were put on the Cross.Like John the Baptizer said.....Jesus was the Lamb Of God that “ TOOK AWAY the SINS of the WORLD.” As predicted by John, Jesus performed HIS part and “the World”means EVERYBODY .....All that is left for anybody to “ DO”is to “ cash in” on what Jesus has already done FOR them....
If you have made it this far , “IF” we can Pretend that this is all true, imagine the Relief you would feel knowing that the PRESSURE to somehow “ Make Yourself Worthy” By always having to check your Performance Level was to be replaced by knowing that you were “ MADE WORTHY” by the Shed Blood Of The Lamb That John said would “ Take Away” your Sins. ...
With me so far? Hmmmmm.....let’s proceed anyway, lol.....Imagine that God REALLY DID what He promised to do ( does God's Promises mean “ Anything” to you, it must be asked). He Promised to take your Sins and cast them ALL into the deepest depths and “ REMEMBER THEM NO MORE”
Perhaps I have been duped — maybe I got it all wrong somehow . But once again, use your imagination.....what if I am “ Right” ........Put yourself in my place, even if it is mistaken......
I actually believe that because of What Jesus did for me on the Cross and my Faith in HIS WORK puts me in this thing that Paul refers to as “The Body Of Christ” where I am Forever “ sealed” and I can “ NEVER come under Condemnation” .....I “ Already Have “ Eternal Life” because I Did the Will Of God as Jesus told the Disciples when He was asked “ what must we do to inherit Eternal Life”, and Jesus said to “ BELIEVE on the One that He Sent”....
I did that . Maybe I am a Fool, but I honestly Believe that I am “ off the hook”. Finally. What a Relief. As a matter of fact, I am so “ relieved” , I now REST in this “ Good News.” Resting in the Gospel Of 1Cor15:1-4 spurs such a Relief .....spurs so much gratitude.....and dare I say it.....so much LOVE for God that I “ find myself “ doing the Will Of God Without having to “try” so hard.Maybe God knew this all along —— after all, the Greatest Commandment is to “Love Your God .....” Maybe this was no coincidence .....maybe this has been the Secret to Living a life that pleases God, no matter what “ Cross we have to bear”. God always knew that LOVE was the Engine that drove Obedience.....maybe that is why he considers everything else “ Dead Works” and “ Filthy Rags”.....
Now, back to what you would call “ The Real World”.....it’s the World Of Religion ....The World That has one “ Trying” to be Saved as opposed to “ Trusting “ to be Saved. Its a world of “ Don’t do This” and “ Do Do That” to “ make yourself” fit for Heaven. A world of works and Law-Keeping even though the Bible is clear that “ by the WORKS Of the Law— NO MAN will be Justified.
The Truth of the matter is this: that “ Pretend world” that I created for you “ IS” the “Real World” .Believing the Gospel to the point that you Truly “ Sabbath” or REST in it is the Key to Everything that matters to God. It should matter to you also because Paul said that when you stand before God , He is going to JUDGE you by that Gospel .....did you REALLY Believe it? If you REALLY Believed it , why did you worry about your Salvation ? Had you RESTED in it like I Commanded you to do , you would have Showed Confidence in your Salvation —— That Thing That I call FAITH! When I said “ Jesus died for your sins and rose from the grave ....that First Half? I meant it ....it was supposed to bring you comfort.....but I guess you actually had to Believe it .....the evidence shows you didn’t.....
I’ll stop there....its a lot of conjecture on my part there at the last....Perhaps it won’t olay out that way. Meanwhile , I’m going to believe that Jesus took care of my sin - debt at the Cross 100%. I ‘ll concentrate on my Faith.
“The man who finds LIFE will find it by Trusting God”
“ The Righteous shall LIVE by Faith”....... Faith in Jesus.....Manifested by one’s Faith in the Gospel....The Gospel That God will Judge you by.....are you Resting in it? I pray that you are..... God bless....

Tell me how I can be mistaken when I have asked according to God's will that everything that comes off of my keyboard might be from Him; in light of 1 John 5:14-15.

I do the very same thing.....so now what? Wanna “ cast lots” to see who is correct? Lol...

My good behaviour is attributed by them to the medicine....I give the glory to God the Holy Ghost.

How nice it would be if that “ good behavior” got you Saved and kept you Saved...Will you be mentioning what “ you” did to justify yourself when you stand before God? Sounds a lot+like those that said to Jesus....” we did THIS and we did THAT—- give us what we worked for! Give us what we Deserve! Jesus, being compliant , will say to all of those trying to share HIS GLORY with their “ Righteousness”........ “OK , you want what you deserve ? I’ll give it to you—- go to Hell.”
As for me? If I ever use the words “ I did this!” ......it will be in this context ..... “ I did one thing and one thing ONLY .....”I trusted in your Shed Blood plus Nothing to Save me.” It’s all a formality....He knew my Heart before I even arrived at His Bema Seat... Christ already took the Judgement that I deserved 2000+ years ago.....now all that is left to do is pass out the Rewards I am going to get because I stood up in places like this and proclaimed , “ Nothing But The Blood”— that beautiful song had it right all along! ( if you don’t believe that song, at least have the Decency to remove it from your hymnal—— God hates hypocrisy! )

Btw.....if you choose to go with the “ behavior route” to be Justified before a Holy God......never forget that the Standard for that is Perfection....24/7 ....
    How’s that working for you?
I know that I can’t be Perfect, so if any Of the rest of you out there agree with me about that—— take the same “ loophole” that I did.....put your Trust in the Gospel and Rest in it......knowing that though you may be a wretched Sinner, God will do to you the same thing that He did to Abraham....He will take your Faith in that Gospel and “ count it” as Righteousness . As good as being Perfect. I’m In. The poor guy that “ turned over a new leaf” with his improved behavior and morality ain’t......

If they are on the Cross, they are not on you any more.

But if you are still committing them, they are still on you...

Him "remembering your sins no more" means that He does not see your sins any more...however, God sees all things (Hebrews 4:13)...and therefore the only way He is not going to see your sins any more is if they are no longer on you because you laid them at the foot of the Cross...

That means that you repented of them and gave them to Christ...after all, He died "for" them...

If you truly repented of them, you will not be committing them any more.

Notice that I have not called you a false teacher...there are many things that you say that I agree with; in fact, I agree with almost everything that you say. The times that I don't agree, can be attributed to either my not having the right pov or else maybe you forgot to pray about that particular post.

I don't think that I fail to pray about what I post before every posting session...but I think that you fail to pray sometimes.

You come off as the kind of person who is confident in his own ability to think...I have no such confidence in myself, so I constantly have to rely on the Holy Spirit when posting what I post....because I know that if I don't, my "mental illness" may kick in and I might say something off-base. Yet, I consider that, as a teacher of God's word, I will endure a stricter judgment. There is a certain kind of fear because of that; but certainly not a fear that is felt because the fear that I do have motivates me to try to be spot on with everything that I say; and because I know that I am relying on the Holy Ghost to teach through me, there is no terror in my heart because of that stricter judgment...I know that I can teach and that there will be no negative repercussions because I am relying on Him very step of the way.

I also know that I am right to accept the calling that the Lord has placed on my life to teach...because if I didn't, I would be like the wicked and lazy servant who hid his talent in the sand.

Not a chance my good behaviour got or keeps me saved...

However, my salvation in Christ does in fact keep my good behaviour.

Nope. I believe as you do that I am wholly and completely redeemed through the blood of Christ.

I simply believe that the blood of Christ does more than justify (as per Romans 5:9)...it also sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses me from all sin (1 John 1:7).

And I don't believe that it can do one thing (justify) without also doing the other (sanctifying and cleansing the soul).

Indeed...and also if you want to increase your faith....say to Jesus on that day, that "I was only an unprofitable servant; and did what was my duty to do."

Not only will He impute righteousness to you in the positional sense, He will also impart it in the practical sense (1 John 3:7, Romans 5:19, Matthew 5:6)...

I could say the same about you...however I assure you that everything that I do and preach is motivated by love...a desire to see people born again of the Holy Spirit (as 1 John 3:9 defines it).

I began to deal specifically with you a little bit more harshly because you began to treat me with a lack of love...

So if that seems rude to you, know that though I be rude in speech, I am not rude in knowledge...

As for this accusation that I am exalting myself, nothing could be further from the truth.

For, Christ gets all the glory for the work of sanctification that He has done and is doing in my life.

And also, in attacking me and in attempting to disparage my ministry, you have driven me to madness. I begin to speak as a fool because I should have been commended by you...and instead, I have to commend myself because such a thing is my only defense; even as it was with Paul.

According to 1 Corinthians 6:9-11, washing and sanctification comes before justification..

Impure thoughts are sinful. I bet you have them.....so how’s that “ repentance” theory working for you? You had better swallow your pride , abandon your delusions and accept God’s Grace....it is the only plan that will work....thank God. , that it just so “ happens” to be His plan.....

They are far and few between any more...and when they do occur, I bring them before the Lord and into His light so that He can cleanse me from all of that sin. The more I walk with Jesus, the less and less I sin in such a manner.

And also, your hypothetical situation will never happen to someone who is predestinated unto salvation.

Do you know why? Because God is sovereign; and the only reason why people get into accidents like what you have described is because they are not walking in relationship to the Lord. I almost said it is because they are not careful; however biblically we don't have to be careful if we bring our requests to the Lord on a regular basis (Philippians 4:6-7). And therefore, the grace of the Lord will sustain us if we have been walking with Him.

If, in being chastened (with a hammer blow to your finger or some such thing), you end up sinning more, I doubt that the Lord is going to continue to put up with that kind of attitude for ever.

After all, Jesus said to forgive seventy times seven times...that amounts to 490...the number of years thar God gave to Israel before He exiled them to Babylon in Israel's history.

His patience is indeed long...but if you do not repent it will wear out some day (Luke 13:1-5; Luke 13:6-9).

Wow .....thanks for this....it revealed a LOT about you....you are much more worse off than I ever suspected......Newbies , you do NOT “ clean yourself up” and then invite God in .......You “ invite Him in” and let HIM do the cleaning.......only God can clean what He is concerned with —- only HE can “ TRANSFORM” what Jesus chose to call “ The Inside Of the Cup”
The BEST a Man can do is “Turn over a new Leaf” , Perhaps become more “ Moral”. Nothing inherently wrong with that —- it just wont save you. God demands more than morality to get to Heaven — the Standard is PERFECTION ....24/7
That “perfection” that is Demanded for admittance to Heaven is one that is “ IMPUTED” to you if you “Turn to God ( The True Repentance that plays into one’s Salvation) with Faith in Jesus Christ....
JBF would not know Christianity if it came up and bit him on his rear- end .....For The Love Of God— IGNORE that man!

Praise the LORD...(for I perceive that I am blessed for your persecution of me)...you claim to be bought by the blood of the Lamb but you do not even realize that the blood of Jesus sanctifies (Hebrews 13:12, Hebrews 10:29) and cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7).

Newbies, I encourage you to study your Bibles...

And by every means, follow the teacher that backs up their statements with the Bible rather than the ones who make blanket statements and expect you to believe them on the basis of their own authority.

The Bible is the ultimate authority that decides what the truth is on any issue...not the words of men.

2Ti 3:15, And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
2Ti 3:16, All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2Ti 3:17, That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Also, don't get your biblical teaching from someone who got their understanding from teachers who may have been false (2 Timothy 4:1-4)...get your understanding from the Bible and from those who got their understanding from their diligent reading of the Bible over long periods of time. While I am such a person, I am not necessarily saying that you should get your teaching from me...I simply encourage you, however, to be a Berean in everything (Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11).

If I don't know Christianity, then Christianity isn't in the Bible...

Because I spend the majority of my hours reading the New Testament and fewer hours reading the Old...

So that I finish reading through all of the epistles once per week and through the gospels, Acts and Revelation about once per month.

I also read through ten chapters in Psalms every day and 2 chapters in Proverbs.

And one chapter a day, if I have time, in seven sections of the Old Testament so that my reading covers everything in the entire Bible.

Now, again, you have driven me to madness in that I should have been commended of you...instead, I am driven to defend myself and this means the foolishness of commending myself; even as did happen with Paul (2 Corinthians 11).

But apparently my "mental illness" means that even though Christianity "bites me in the butt" every day I am alive, I cannot know the truth and therefore cannot be teaching correctly...

So I say again, don't take my word on anything...be a Berean (Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11).

Because I am worth nothing as a teacher; but the verses that I may bring to bear on any subject are the perfect teachers (Psalms 119:24).

Being a “ Berean” is what has taken me to where I am...... I Trust “ NOBODY “ unless what the say is Scriptural ....and I certainly hope nobody takes “Anything” that ol’ BB says without it being in the Bible....
Gifted Teachers with amazing insight into the things of God are a Blessing from God.....The Bible is a Complex and even dangerous Book when one lacks the ability to “ rightly divide” it.......and THAT is a Gift from God. Apparently you need no Teacher whose Wisdom might be greater than yours.....it appears that you have “ gone it alone”. Trust me— it shows!

    1 John 2:20, 1 John 2:27, Psalms 119:97-104.

I rely on Bible reading and the Holy Spirit brings to remembrance the holy scriptures as I need them.

My teacher is Jesus Christ Himself...and His Holy Spirit.

Of course I pay attention to teachers in the body of Christ...however, I follow my own advice and behave as a Berean with every teacher.

I have made it a point to know my Bible well and to get my understanding primarily from the Bible.

Every person, when he is fully trained, will be like his teacher (Luke 6:40)...

I am so thankful that when I am fully trained I am going to be like Christ in every way, if I am not already fully trained...this is a promise of holy scripture (Luke 6:40, Romans 8:29).

“Time spent” reading the Bible means Nothing .....I bet there are Catholics out there that have “read” the Bible 50 times....and for what?
Most people that read the Bible come away with a brain full of “ Religious Mush”......A wise “God Called” Teacher can eliminate Tons Of well- meant , but Confused Religious Thinking......guys like Les Feldick or Andrew Farley.....why not give them a “ hearing”...... I really think you would love Les Feldick.....just an old cattle- farmer with an AMAZING GIFT for Teaching the Word Of God ....google him.....his ENTIRE MINISTRY is built upon the ANCHOR of 1Cor 15:1-4......Not a bad thing to be “ Stuck” on....

Now I know that I have the Holy Ghost because I have been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and the Holy Ghost is absolutely promised to those who receive such a sacrament...

Therefore, when I read my Bible, the Holy Spirit guides me into all truth (John 16:13).

I don't know anything about Les Feldick or Andrew Farley, except that you seem to idolize them and their teaching has led you to think off-base in that you think that there is no necessity for repentance in the life of the believer...this is a perversion of the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

(I think that you have heaped them to you as teachers to tell you what your itching ears want to hear, personally (2 Timothy 4:1-4)).

For, Jesus came to save us from our sins (Matthew 1:21) and to redeem us from all iniquity (Titus 2:14).

How is He going to do that if we never become willing for Him to do the work of sanctification within us? I say to you truly that repentance is changing your mind about sin so that you become willing for the Lord to do the work of sanctification within you (to change you from the inside out, regenerating and renewing you on the inside).

    And sanctification is salvation.

Many teachers of the Bible tend to spend the majority of their time trying to debunk major doctrines in the Bible...they pit scripture against scripture in order to deny what the holy scripture teaches. I have noticed this as a trend in some churches where the people idolize their preachers and will not take the time to be a Berean (Acts of the Apostles 17:10-11).

Sanctification is a result Of Salvation, Justification is God’s declaration that a believing sinner is righteous because of the merits of Christ imputed to him. Salvation was achieved By Jesus who paid the eternal penalty of sins for all who would believe through His one-time sacrifice on the cross for sin, Listen Salvation is not of works, Let that sink in, that includes Good or Bad its not of works period...

yes its the self righteousness of the pharisees in matthew 23 who clean themselves up on the outside and look righteous to others but inside well that is another story. Good job exposing the errors and bringing in the truth. God sanctifies us through the power and work of the Holy Spirit , not the flesh and by works.
