Satan Gets His Power From God.

Ezekiel 27:2-4 “Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus; And say unto Tyrus, ‘O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, which art a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord God; ‘O Tyrus, thou hast said, ‘I am of perfect beauty.’ Thy borders are in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

Tyrus is Satan and where is he? At the entry, or beginning, of the sea. The seas are symbolic of people...masses of humanity and Satan is where it all began when God first created mankind for Satan was there! What does he do? He is a merchant in that he buys and sells souls. He traffics in the slavery of the souls of God's children. He and his "builders" that perfect his wealth are smack dab in the "midst of the seas," or...in the middle of all of us.

We see them everyday for they operate using....Politics, Finance, Education and Religion.​

Daniel 11:43 But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt: and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

The treasures and precious things are souls…God’s children. God has given him this power.​

11:44 But tidings out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him: therefore he shall go forth with great fury to destroy, and utterly to make away many.

That sounds terrifying but how does Satan destroy, how does he take away many? Remember, he is the great deceiver.

Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practice, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy People.​

He makes war with the elect and he will kill the witnesses but his "war" is with deception. He will be pretending to be Christ.

Revelation 6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.​

Again...God gives him this power to deceive. He takes peace from the earth because everyone will believe he is Christ except the elect who will make a stand against him. Notice it isn't Satan swinging an axe, chopping heads off that do the killing but..."they should kill one another." This is spiritual killing done by false preachers and teachers that are misleading their congregations. The "great sword" is God's Word that he twists....just as he did in the garden. Don't expect some evil dragon type man to be Satan. Realize he will be pretending to be Christ and using the Words of Christ but in a deceptive way.

Revelation 13:5 And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months.​

That is how he uses the great sword....which are the words from his mouth that will spiritually kill many.

13:7-8 And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds and tongues, and nations. And all that dwell upon the earth SHALL WORSHIP HIM, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.​

Daniel 8:25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand.

He will seem peaceful as the world will believe he is Christ and that false peace...shall destroy many!​

Daniel 11:45 And he shall plant the tabernacles of his palace between the seas in the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

The “glorious holy mountain” is us….the body of Christ. Our bodies are our tabernacles, our tents, in this flesh life. As we are the tabernacles of God’s house…so does Satan have “tabernacles of his palace.” Satan places them, his Kenites, the tares, among the people of God.

What is meant by “between the seas in the glorious holy mountain?” “Seas” are symbolic of masses of people. Is the answer given in…..​

Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and winter shall it be.

“In that day” is…the day of the Lord, the millennium. His truth, the living waters, will flow to heal the nations. Where there is this separation of “between the seas” and “former and hinder sea,” I believe means that these healing, teaching waters will reach all of His children, including those on both sides of the gulf. They are those of the first resurrection and those that must be tested at the end of the millennium and then.....​

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Jesus Christ fasted forty days in the desert against Satan. Moses fasted 40 days not once but twice in receiving the tablets. David fasted 7 days pleading for God not to take his child. Our Lord sustains us and we like all his precious children can fast 40 days if we need to for Lord keeps us alive. As Matthew recorded Jesus saying: Matt. 10:29-31 for not one sparrow falls to the ground if it is not the Father's will. Those who can kill the body and not the soul, CAN NOT KILL US UNLESS IT IS THE FATHER"S WILL. They can toss us in the fire as Daniel's friends were tossed only to come out and serve the King who tossed them in. Verse 31 says "SO," Don't be afraid; YOU ARE WORTH MORE THAN MANY SPARROWS. As verse 25 says he will cause deceit to prosper and will consider himself superior. he will destroy many and take his stand against the Prince of Prices, whom is Christ. For he will be destroyed, not by human power. This is how we know that our Christ comes. We are entering into this time of great distress for many, we will be tested as gold is in fire to have the impurities worked out of us as Zech. 14:9 declares along with the statement that our Lord will hear our prayers and OUR LORD WILL SPEAK DIRECTLY TO US> amen. No, I don't think he will pretend to be Christ for it says in Daniel, we are told Christ is in the desert, or in the garden, but we are NOT TO GO OUT. So, this man is going to lie to us and make these false stories up to get us to go out so that he will kill us. Some will stumble and fall, but those of us who KNOW our GOD will stand firm unto the END, and we will be running down through the cities being persecuted as we go, with Christ coming down on us as the sickle will be swing. Rev 14:13-16 is fulfilled. Uh Vicky... in this world, in this very reality, every false teachings are claimed to be of Christ... Scriptures say beware of false Christ. (Matthew 24:24, Mark 13:22) claiming to be Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 24:5, Mark 13:6, Luke 21:8) with their false teachings. Paul says "Who he cometh preaches another Jesus..." (II Corinthians 11:4)So since every false teachings are claimed to be of Christ... How can you say that the Son of perdition will not pretend to be Lord Jesus Christ? It makes no sense due to scripture saying that Satan will deceive the whole world and follow him. (Revelation 12:9) And they will love him.You know I posted a question a couple of times Vicky, but you didn't answer. How can you say the Son of perdition is not Satan? If it's not Satan, is it a random human being?

The "son of perdition" and Satan are the same entity. He is also Lucifer, antichrist, morning star, devil, serpent, dragon, leviathan, beast, tree of knowledge of good and evil, etc. His name is legion. I agree that the "one hour" is Satan's time but that time, his great tribulation, is a five month period. I also agree that he will be in the Temple but consider what the "temple of God" is.....for it is no longer a literal building. Those waiting for a rebuilt temple in Jerusalem will be greatly surprised. I like your association with the Libyans and Ethiopians being the kings of end times. Good job!QUOTE

Thank you again however I must disagree. The "cities of Israel" aren't just in Judaea. Israel consists of twelve tribes, two of which are Jews. The house of Judah is in Jerusalem but not the other ten tribes and they too are Israel. This event will be much larger than just in that little location.QUOTE

He does tell us not to go but....many will because they will believe he is Christ. Consider Vickie that the "killing" he does is spiritual...not physical. It is done in a gentle and loving manner and they won't know what has happened, at least until the true Saviour arrives.
