Satan, the Great Liar

I’ve heard it said Satan is the great liar. This would be an insight into how he works:

Now the serpent was more subtle than any other wild creature that the LORD God had made. Genesis 3:1a RSV

God said homosexuality is an abomination (Leviticus 18:22), but Satan says that is hateful speech, and the world believes Satan rather than God. That’s exactly what happened to Adam and Eve.

So what other lies, great or small, is Satan perpetuating?

Yes, Satan's basic lie is that we can live autonomous lives separate from God's word, when in reality, we were made to live in perpetual compliance to God's word, ie in constant fellowship with God. He is both our Lord and our friend.

So the big lie is that we don't need to listen to the advice of God's word in all that we do. The Scriptures say to do all to the glory of God. That means that although we have freedom to make free choices, we are never free to act outside of the love of God.

To claim that aberrant, immoral behaviors are okay and not to be interpreted by God's word is the ultimate lie. As you suggest, homosexuality was not permitted by God. To say that we can re-interpret God's word to make it okay, or to deny God's word on this altogether, is a lie.

Apparently 1/3 of sinless angels bought Lucifers story ....and it wasn't as if they were 'born' the day before.
There's every chance these angels had been around for eons, they knew God and yet the shinning one's arguments were sufficiently persuasive to see them side with him.

The question is, if sinless angels got duped what chance is there of fallen man resisting his sophistry?

We have much to be thankful for God's protection. The lack of thankfulness and active unbelief pushes God's protection away. It says 'I'll do it my way'

So, when God's protection is pushed away, people are left to the control of the one they've chosen......and what does he have in store?
John 10:10 'the thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy'

Is it any wonder the planet is wracked with destruction/chaos?

Satan. The father of lies.

In my own spiritual war the evil one tries to lie to me.
He tries to tell me that I'm worthless.
He tries to tell me that God doesn't love me.
He tries to tell me that evil is good.
He tries to tell me that I'm a looser.
He tries to tell me that God isn't real.
He tries to tell me many lies.

In society he tries to normalise premescuity, transgenderism, abortion, adultery, idolisation, human sacrifice, divorce, homosexuality, hate, murder, war, fear, discrimination, persecution, segregation and too much more.
