Being born of God.

1 John 3:
[9] Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

No, No, No, No, No.

I was naturally born in sin.
I was naturally born not knowing of or knowing the Lord God.
I corrupted my soul in my body.
I heard, learned, read, studied, believed, read some more, studied some more, got to know about the Lord God, and Learned According to His Way He Offered me a Way to become WITH HIM FOREVER.
By my own Freewill I chose to call on the Lord and MAKE a Heartful repentance and commitment to the Lord God.
I fully Trust the Lord God is Faithful and Gave me exactly what He Promised.

I was forgiven and received the Lord Gods Promised Works within me.....and SIN NO MORE.

My Sin was Against God. Only God forgives Sin.

Trespasses certainly can and do occur between and among myself and other people. I may Trespass, they may Trespass. And there is Scriptural teaching (for anyone not knowing), How TO correct Trespasses against another or when an other Trespasses against you.

Yes, people can and do all day long trespass and forgive each other of trespasses. <—- Completely different from committing a Sin.
(You probably already do that...bump into someone, say sorry, excuse me, pardon me....You Trespassed, then said for your Trespass, SORRY, and may also asked to be EXCUSED, PARDONED, which is asking them TO EXCUSE, PARDON your Trespass. They say, okay...Done deal.

Not once was I ever commanded TO Believe IN, Have Faith IN, Trust, Look to a person as my Savior, etc.

Glory to God,
Taken
I'm glad you give the glory to God, it is His alone to have

Just weird to me.
I guess some are offended at God having all the glory.
Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him. John 7:18

Sure you can.

I'll give you an example.

A few years ago, there was a Cable TV program, that was very popular in the world.

"Game of Thrones'".

This is a slightly occultic... soft porn TV series that lasted for years.
I didnt watch it.
But millions of Christians did., and would talk about it on "Christian" forums..
And week after week, in this Series....there was rape, incest, incest, more rape, .......murder.....lust....graphic sex.... just everything that the Devil enjoys.
Yes, i know what was in the program, as i can READ about it., and did.

So, when CHRISTIANS were watching this program for YEARS, ..each time..they were not "serving the Lord", they were serving their OTHER master, as they watched it.
Now, Reader, insert in place of GOT.... your favorite program or music, that is dirty, carnal, whorish, filth, blasphemous, and worse, that you like to watch......Or perhaps you watched GOT's ?????
And maybe you taped it so you can watch it a few times.
So, are you serving the Lord when you are watching and listening to this dirt and filth?

A.) You are not

Now, im sure that none of you do this......

So, im probably just talking to the random unbelievers that find this THREAD.

Paul said this about THAT behavior...."use not your liberty in Christ to enjoy some LUST"... and that is because you can, but you shouldn't.
You should keep your vessel CLEAN.....= you control your eyes and your ears.
Now im not telling you to get rid of your TV.
Im just showing you how to think about all this, as is necessary.
Just to let you in on a little secrete . Most who claim to be christian .............AINT .
And if a lamb errs it gets convicted . YE cant serve two masters . And lets not forget that evil communications corrupt good manners .

I'll show you a mystery that is a Spiritual Truth.

There is No sin "in Christ".
And all the born again, are "in Christ".
If you learn that mystery that is THE revelation regarding being "Made Righteous", by GOD...then you have found some Light, indeed.

Notice this verse..

"As JESUS IS......so are the born again, in this world"....

Ask yourself....>"can i have any sin, and be Seated in Heavenly places, in Christ"?

Ahhhhh.
Now lets look at pauls approach toward sin .
Paul was gonna bring a serious ROD of correction to those who had sinned and had not yet repented of said sin .
Try reading the letter to the corinthians . The second letter . And i shall bewail many who have sinned ............
I wonder why His approach to sin was so different to todays approach .
Let it not once be named among you as becometh saints , HAS NOW been turned into , OH we cant stop ,
And even if ya do sin it aint sin if you IN JESUS . WHere folks get their theology today dont sound like it comes at all
from the JESUS of said bible nor the apostels of said bible .

That is a very immature comment to make. Hold the law to the pristene level it is set it, only those who dumb it down can make such a statement as you have
Well how about some mature comments from scripture.

The truth shall set you free one is either a slave of sin or a slave of Christ. Whom the Son sets free is free indeed. You cannot serve/ be a slave of 2 masters.

John 8:31-36
To the Jews who had believed him, Jesus said, “If you hold to my teaching, you are really my disciples. 32 Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” 33 They answered him, “We are Abraham’s descendants and have never been slaves of anyone. How can you say that we shall be set free?”34 Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. 35 Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. 36 So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

Romans 6:6-7
For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin7 because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.

Romans 6:16-21
Don't you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey — whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness? 17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted. 18 You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.19 I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. 20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

1 Corinthians 7:21-22
Were you a slave when you were called? Don't let it trouble you — although if you can gain your freedom, do so. 22 For he who was a slave when he was called by the Lord is the Lord's freedman; similarly, he who was a free man when he was called is Christ's slave.

Galatians 4:7
So you are no longer a slave, but a son; and since you are a son, God has made you also an heir.

Ephesians 6:6
Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but as slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart.

1 Peter 2:16
Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves.

2 Peter 2:19-20
They promise them freedom, while they themselves are slaves of depravity — for a man is a slave to whatever has mastered him.

hope this helps !!!
