I'm sorry, but I have no interest with continuing this discussion with you. You are simply reeling off pat statements as to how a christian should live their life that bears no reality to yours or anybody elses life. Apart from the harm that can do to new christians, I want more from debate than that
Bye
you seem to only seek to engage those who agree with you , that speaks volumes about defending your faith and apologetics.

1 Peter 3:15
but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,

hope this helps !!!

I thought you'd say that as well. It's OK, I know why you are responding to me as you are, and why you write the things about me you do. You revel in debating here don't you. Im sorry for hurting you with the truths I have set out. Why don't we leave it there, I don't want to upset you anymore

That's okay. It's clearly in your nature to hurt people. I will continue to post on this forum whether you like it or not.

That is like a mediocre line for a stand-up comedian. What do you know about "the average pew sitter, who has studied little" and how much s/he knows?

The Holy Spirit wants all people to come to a knowledge of the truth -- including you. Being ignorant and/or stupid is nothing to brag about!
ditto

Like everyone else maam, I believe I am living righteously Pro 21:2. That is why I have dedicated my life to Jehovah, and have chosen to be one of His witnesses. Jehovah's witnesses are not immune to sin, and none of us do not sin daily, as far as I know. One thing I do know is that God is not unrighteous, so if I am dead in my sin, that is the way it has to be Heb 6:10

Do you believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit in JW? That is how we are born again. Acts of the Apostles 1:8. If you've dedicated your life to the Father, you can't snub His Son, because without the Son, you don't have the Father either.

The entire BIBLE is about "RIGHTEOUSNESS", and how you get it.
You dont go to the resurrection.... You ONLY go to the CROSS of CHRIST to find that answer and solution.

The Resurrection = proves that the Cross of Christ is how God "reconciled the world to Himself.". = 2 Corinthians 5:19.
Paul preached.. "Christ Crucified"..>"The preaching of the Cross".
Same as me, same an any real preacher, teacher, etc.

See John 3:16 on an update about what God offered YOU, to become His son.
1 Peter 1:3
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! By His great mercy He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1 Corinthians 15:14-17
And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith. 15 More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead. But he did not raise him if in fact the dead are not raised. 16 For if the dead are not raised, then Christ has not been raised either. 17 And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins.

I have to say, you see more and more pat head theology reeled off from those who do not reflect in their own lives what they are saying others should live up to. Neither does anyone else live up to it, A perfect example of head theology that does no one any good who seriously considers their words. Maybe I expect too much from internet debates

Where dd you pick up the phrase "head theology"? It is jingoistic nonsense.

"theology: the study of religious faith, practice, and experience especially : the study of God and of God's relation to the world. Study means using your mind. (discounting the KJV archaic meaning of "make an effort").

You don't understand what head theology is? You formulate theological opinions in your mind devoid of the Holy Spirits leading. They never enter your heart, just stay in your mind

Again, you sound like a child, writing "I have not been rude to you, but you have to me"

Since you don't mind my posting I will continue to do so. BTW, I thought you are leaving.

Patience is a virtue. I will be leaving, I always do. There is nothing fruitful to be gained personally by staying. Though I do grieve for new christians who may be confronted with pat statements of belief, concerning how they must live their lives when the people making them do not even try and live as they tell others they should.
If you think it is childish to point out your rudeness, when I have not responded in kind, sobiet

Very clever terminology. "Head theology" is an redundancy.

When are you leaving? You keep promising that yet you're still here. Matthew 5:37, "All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one."

A rather immature quote in the circumstances

What you said is a bullseye.
The "christian forum junkie" often has no church home, and is basically very religious, and has been captured by lying commentaries.

But a Pastor of a church can just as equally lie just like lying or deceptive commentaries. So where does a person go?
They go to the Bible and they study it with God’s help.
We know in 1 John 2:27 says that they did not need any man to teach them because they had the Anointing (the Spirit).
This is not to say that iron cannot sharpest iron and other believers cannot help in our understanding of God’s Word. They can, but a believer should not have a blind trust in others. For if they just blindly follow without checking the Scriptures in prayer with God, then the blind can lead the blind into a ditch.

You said:
Christianity is very interesting, as its handed down.
It began on the Cross, and then the Apostles handed it to the rest, who keep sharing it.
The Bible is the LIGHT, and you need a skilled teacher to get it right.

For what? To sin and still be saved as you teach? That is what the vast majority of Christianity believes already.
Yet, Jesus said narrow is the way that leads unto life and few be there that find it.
Jude 1:4 warns against those who turn God’s grace into a license for immorality.

You said:
When we read about Timothy, and Titus, and the disciples of Paul, we find that he was endlessly teaching them.
That is how real Christianity is supposed to be passed along.
Students of the Word and Teachers of the Students of the word.

So then how does 1 John 2:27 fit into this equation?

You said:
The most difficult thing for me to do, as a Teacher, is not teach a new believer, and bring them along swiftly in the Spirit....but its to try to crack the chains of deception that are a mental stronghold in a believer, who has been led into the darkness by devil's in the pulpit, or devil's who wrote all their commentaries.

You cannot teach the Bible if you deny what the Bible says on basic things like morality and the goodness of God.

You said:
These people want truth, but have had their spiritual eyes so darkened, that LIGHT< becomes "wrong" to them..
So, those are the people that are so very difficult for me to reach.

My guess is that what you mean by “the light” is teaching that one can sin and still be saved because they have a belief alone on Jesus as one’s Savior?

If so, show me that in the Bible.

You said:
Reader.....
You have to be careful who you let teach you,

Yes. I agree. This would be people like even you.

You said:
as that is where the Devil will grab you and ruin your faith for life.

I believe God wants us to be good Bereans and to search the Scriptures to see whether those things be so or not.
Your belief is not in line with what the Bible says because it does not uphold a standard of morality or the goodness of God.
According to your stated words so far, we can live like the devil and be saved. But this is not true. For obviously God is good and His people would naturally be good, too. This is why verses like Galatians 5:24, 1 Peter 4:1-2, 2 Corinthians 7:1, and Philippians 2:12 are hidden from your understanding. You cannot accept what they plainly say but they must be twisted like a pretzel to fit your sin and still be saved doctrine.

If you cannot understand with your mind it can never enter your heart.

Romans 12:2
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Ephesians 4:23
to be made new in the attitude of your minds;

Colossians 3:2
Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things

1 Peter 1:13
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ;

hope this helps !!!

You said you are leaving. Let your yes be "yes" and your no be "no". Are you leaving or not?
Try and follow what I said. I know you are upset to have the truth of these sites pointed out to you, but at least try. I did not specifically state when I would leave, but rather I never stay for more than a few days, or maybe a week

A person is justified in God's sight through faith in His Son. At the point of repentance and asking Christ to be their saviour a person is placed in a saved state. The Holy Spirit enters their life at that point. The baptism in the Holy Spirit is a seperate event

Acts 1:4 And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; 5 for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”

Question: When the 120 on the Day of Pentecost spoke in tongues, had they received the Holy Spirit, or were they baptized in the Holy Spirit?
