We are in a recession. And contrary to the latest reading of a teleprompter by an inept jacked up senile old man, we saw an inflation rate of 8.5% in July, not 0% 9.1% was the rate for June this year .....9.1% above June 2021 .....Still not zero anywhere.
By the way. That comes from his economic advisors that made the statement incorrectly and was copied by whoever writes Biden's lies to the nation. The inflation rate is 8.5% greater than July of 2021. For that month, not the overall average.

Why not tell your democratic congressman to suck it up (their emotional bias to vote for all things GND like and extremely liberal), go against Biden and party leaders and not vote for this destructive bill, or else.

5. Shipping Jobs Overseas

Actually, my information is not always up to date. Even though I am a northerner and grew up in the cold north and was in both Canada and the US, I am in the southern US right now.
My territory as a Regional Sales Manager working out of Tampa, Fl included all of Canada and Alaska. I've been i every Province and most of the major and secondary cities, nationwide . All concerning the power industry and major commercial industry. A lot of ALCAN properties.
Just curious due the Canada post ... i enjoyed the Canadians and made a lot of friends along the way. In Winnipeg, I decided that curling is an excuse for Canadians to drink beer. There was a curling club next to the Holiday Inn we stayed at. I went inside to see the court and got invited to sit and watch when they learned I was a lost American. Throw a stone down a beer ...LOL.

And my grandfather and grandmother were Swedish, and Finish and he fought in the Finish Civil war, enlisted at 15 and they put him in charge of a group of soldiers as he was the only one who could read, he was not on the red side....he was white. He told us a story where he was sleeping in the barracks and had a dream that an artillery shell hit and everyone was killed, so he awoke and got everyone out and a few minutes later a shell hit and blew up the place. Amazing how so many things come together to create you and me.
They came to America on the same ship which he actually repaired the steam engine of, and settled in Boston, he started a tool and die company which was eventually bought by Fastenal. They retired to Cape Cod, and I spent many idyllic summers there too. Parents both went to Harvard, I became a Medical Technologist, invested in stocks and retired way early in 1998, I earned 2 full pensions of which I now get one from Glaxo Smithkline, other I have to wait till official retirement age.
I recently found out my grandfather (Papa) read the bible everyday. I did share Christ with my grandmother and she received Jesus, this was back in the 80's and it really changed her life, so it was genuine. She had a very hard life in Sweeden, her father was a rich landowner and farmer, but he gave away all his money and people never paid him back, when he died of TB, her mother was very ill, and she got to raise all 11 of the children as a surrogate mom. Her aunt wont the Swedish national lottery in the early 20's, moved to America, Boston area, and brought over Anna to work as a house maid for them. then she and my grandfather met in the states, and she refused to marry him until he could buy her a house. Which he did with I suppose a lot of tool and die engineering work, ASFAIK, he was a self-made man, not going to university, their tool and die company also made satellite antennas and his was on the first US satellite into orbit. His name was Arne Richardson. But i was pretty young when he died of a heart attack in 1967-68, not sure of the year. i know he died less than a year after retirement of a heart attack while waiting in the doctor office with my grandmother.

Lived in Syracuse for four years. Learned to shovel a lot of snow. LOL!
That's why I enjoyed Florida.

The lake effect snows coming off Lake Erie would give us huge snow storms. We lived at 235 Glenalby Rd Tonawanda NY across from Green Acres elementary school for a while.

Once we had to go out a window to dig out our front door from the snow. City plows would simply bury your car under snow drifts if they were left on the street. One year the snow was piled so high I climbed up and touched the top of the street light pole. We would also make big snow forts.
that tree on the right at that house was once our Christmas Fir tree back in the mid 60's and amazingly it is still there today. I remember planting it. It really looks overgrown, surprised it is still there.
When I lived in Cheyenne is where we contended with snow 8-10 feet high. Syracuse was mild compared to Cheyenne Wyoming. In all my Canada travel I never saw anything that looked like Wyoming snow. Got snowed in for a week once.
The funny part of Syracuse. You would finish shoveling snow from the driveway, stand there admiring your work thinking Dad will be proud, snow plow would go by and leave three feet of ice and snow in front of the driveway. Had to work like dogs to get that out of the way before Dad got home from the base.
