When one comes to the word of God we find that the blind leads the blind, because most people do not take the time and read for themselves. Jesus say in Luke 6:39 And he spake a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch? Now understand that this is a spiritual and a physical saying, but in this case I’m seeing the spiritual side of this blind side of man. Paul say in 2 Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

Hardly know one, once to admit that they follow Satan, but there’s no middle ground in the case, either you follow God (Jesus) or Satan. It’s written in Revelation 12: 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him. Once a person realize they have been deceive that’s when the true change can come in. A Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ and our adjective is to be Christ like. For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: (1 Peter 2: 21, 22)

Jesus had a custom, and his custom was to keep the Sabbath day on the seventh day of the week, but in our day we keep Sunday, and for some reason its not written in the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, to attend Church service on the first day of the week. Lets go into Luke 4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about. 15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all. 16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

But let’s see if the apostles and or Paul follow Jesus steps or did they start keeping the first day of the week Sunday. Now lets take a look at; (Acts 13:13-15, 42, 44) (v.13) Now when Paul and his company loosed from Pa’-phus, they came to Per’-ga in Pam-phyl’-I-a: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem. (v.14) But when they departed from Per’-ga, they came to An’-ti-och in Pi-sid’-I-a, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down. Paul went into the church (synagogue) on the sabbath day the seventh day not the first day (Sunday). (v.15) And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, Ye men and brethren, if ye have any word of exhortation for the people, say on. (v.42) And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath.

The Gentiles didn’t asked Paul to come preach us something different next Sunday. They wanted Paul to preach to them the same thing that he taught the Jews, the next sabbath. Even the Gentiles knew that if they were going to serve the same God that Paul and the Jews (Israelites) served that they would have to serve him on the day that God had set up. (v.42) And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God. Not the next Sunday but the next sabbath.

Surely most Christian loves God the Father Almighty! Surely most Christians love their Savior, Jesus Christ! But does every Christian wants to live by (Luke:4:4) And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

The reference point for Christians is the Bible, the revelation of God to mankind and source book for God's commands to us, known as the divine Law. God's laws are holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good (Romans 7:12). They are the instructions for the way we should conduct our lives. Yet throughout history we see people trying to side-step the laws of God. Even today many Christian churches do not place as much emphasis on observing God's law as they do on ‘love’. But the fact is, we need both!

The apostle John, (1John: 4:20) If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? As we can see, God condemns those who claim to love Him while they hate their brothers. Again in, (1John 3:14) it states We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death. Such statements we need to seriously take to heart especially in these days when we see communities dividing into factions.

Concerning the observance of the Law we find the following, (1John 2:4) He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. How can anyone claim to know God yet teach that it is not necessary to obey His laws?

Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

Much love!

Over the years many have taught various ways to receive everlasting life. No wonder the world is full of so many denominations. All of these different doctrines, seemingly coming from the bible, tend only to confuse people. Most people don't know what to believe and simply choose not to attend any church. Salvation, what would you trade fore it? This is a question you should ask yourself. The answer should be nothing. What people fail to realize is Adam sin and brought forth the first and second death, and that second is the lake of fire. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5: 12)

So at this point the creation is lock under these two death, this is before Jesus of course. I find that a lot of people don’t understand this. We have a lot righteous prophets and people in the old testament, but still lock under those two death. We also have a lot of evil people in the old testament who will still be lock under those two death. If you are lock under those two death, this mean you will be raise from dead, and Judged, then headed straight for the lake of fire. So now, Jesus came and die for the world and bless us with grace, so that our righteousness which will remove the second death.

Jesus says in Luke: 31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick. 32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. See sin is what got us these two death in the first place. Let’s take a look at the biblical definition of sin. 1John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. Now we have just read the biblical definition of sin, the transgression (breaking) of the law (commandments.)

So when you sin, you transgress the law, what law? The Commandments brother and Sisters. And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it. Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. (2 John 1: 6,8,9)

So if you think because Jesus die for our sins, and you don’t have to keep the law (Commandments) then you are sinning, and Paul told us in Romans 6: 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus said in (Matt. 16:24-27) (v.24) Then said Jesus unto his disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. That was the Lord’s burden, to die on the cross for the sins of man. Now as we read earlier every man must bear his own burden, and what is your burden? (v.25) For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. You must give up your life in this world; you must not get caught up in the cares of this world. You must bring forth-good fruits of faith by keeping God’s commandments, statues, and judgments. (v.26) For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Some of the great patriarchs in (Heb.11) gave up a lot, some even their lives in exchange for their soul. You see they had great faith (belief) that their souls (bodies) would be raised at the first resurrection. And some of you won’t even give up some of the littlest things like, going to church on Sunday, the pagan holidays of Christmas and Easter, praying to the Virgin Mary, I could go on and on. And most so-called Christians know these rituals have nothing to do with Jesus and the Bible, but a lot of work get put into them. But do they understand that they are offensive to God? Maybe it’s because they have more faith in man than God, maybe it’s because they fear how man is going to treat them, and don’t fear God. But listen up; (v.27) For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his holy angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works. Now these are the words of Jesus (the Son of man), you know the savior of the world. He said that when he comes he is going to judge every man according to his works. Don't be deceived thinking you all you need to do is have faith in the Lord and you will be saved?

People we must realize, that it is the keeping of God’s holy laws that separates the righteous from the unrighteous and the Saints from the Sinners. (Titus: 3:8) This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. You must learn (by the word of God) what God expects of you and maintain his expectations to the end, if you expect to be saved. Jesus says in (Matt. 5:16) Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. You are supposed to glorify your Father in heaven, and let your light shine before men. And how do you do that? By having good works.

The Bible is telling people to repent, the Bible is telling people to get baptize, and to keep the commandments, which includes the Sabbath day on the seventh day of the week. The Bible tells people what not to eat and what you can eat, how to be Holy and clean, so this what Paul is talking about when he says in (Phil. 2:12) Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. Now if you need not work to be save, then why is Paul telling you to “WORK” out your own salvation, and pay close attention because he also says with “fear and trembling”. Look at what Jesus says in Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell. The book say in Revelation 21: 8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Now Paul said in Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints; 5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. Paul said in 1 Thessalonians 4:7 For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness.

Now lets understand and reason together, Paul just gave us a run down on condition of sins. People who are behaving in such manner will not inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God, even those who are unclean. Being unclean does not mean a person doesn’t wash up, we are not talking about soap and water. We are talking about defiling the body and the mind, with unholiness or unGodliness.

From the beginning, God gave His law through Moses and the prophets. In the Ten Commandments, He forbade idolatry, adultery, murder, theft, lying, and covetousness, and commanded His people to honor their parents and keep His name holy (Exodus 20:3–17). In Leviticus 18, He condemned all sexual sins that defile the body and the land, including adultery, fornication, incest, and other unclean acts. In Leviticus 19, He added many others—stealing, lying, swearing falsely, hating one’s brother, vengeance, oppression of the poor, and withholding wages—finishing with the command to love one’s neighbor as oneself.

God also revealed through the wise in Proverbs 6:16–19 that He hates a proud look, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that plans wicked things, feet that rush to do evil, a false witness, and one who spreads discord. The prophets continued the same warnings. Isaiah 59:2–8 speaks of lies, injustice, bloodshed, and deceit. Ezekiel 22 describes violence, greed, sexual impurity, oppression of the poor, and the forgetting of God.

When all of these words are compared, we see that the sins Paul listed are only a small part of the many evils already named by God Himself. The missing ones include blasphemy, murder, lying, stealing, drunkenness, pride, envy, gossip, hatred, dishonoring parents, oppression, witchcraft, and breaking oaths. These are not new teachings of Paul, for they had all been declared by the Lord from the beginning.

Jesus Himself confirmed them again, saying in Mark 7:21–23, “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders, thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lewdness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness. All these evil things come from within and defile a man.” Thus the message has never changed: from the law to the prophets and from Jesus Himself, God has called His people to holiness, truth, mercy, and purity of heart. Those who walk in these ways are clean before Him, but those who continue in sin remain defiled and without inheritance in His kingdom.

Having the right context and perspective in life is crucial.

Who bestows the crown of life – God or Jesus, as mentioned in James 1:12?

The verse attributes the promise of the crown of life to "the (Uppercase) Lord" or "God," depending on the manuscript tradition. Some early manuscripts read "the Lord" (commonly understood by many Trinitarians or Binitarians as referring solely to Jesus), while others read "God" or omit the subject altogether. Notably, the Alexandrian manuscript leaves out "Lord," allowing the phrase to be read as "God has promised." This variation reflects the early Christian belief that both God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ participate in granting eternal rewards.

In other parts of the New Testament, Jesus promises the crown of life (Revelation 2:10), and God, His Father, is described as the source of every good gift (James 1:17). Thus, the crown’s giving originates from the Father and is fulfilled through Christ, His Son, to those who persevere in genuine faith.

So, whom do you ultimately serve?

They are One!
I'll bite...

So, whom do we ultimately serve?

Choosing to say or write nothing can be a powerful and productive choice for understanding, particularly in emotionally charged or complex situations. Silence allows space for reflection, enabling individuals to process information without the immediate pressure to respond, which can lead to more thoughtful and empathetic engagement.

In conversations, especially those involving difficult controversial news or deep emotions, silence can convey understanding and empathy more effectively than words.

It signals that one is truly listening and taking the time to absorb what has been shared, fostering a deeper connection and mutual respect.

As for your written statement, I do understand why you wrote it. It's your religious dog whistle statement to bring in reinforcements of more short-sightedness when you struggle and cannot handle the subject at hand yourself I imagine. I would not be too alarmed, there are many as you, still very confused about whom you serve.

Logically, this sentence should read this way: - "I would not be too alarmed as there are many still very confused about whom we serve."

I and my Father are one: for the Word of my Father is within me, and if His Word is within me, then by way of agency my Father is also within me, for the Word of the Father is His own Word, and therefore cannot be separated from the Father. Therefore if the Father is within me by way of His Agent, the Word, then whenever I understand and speak His Word in uprightness and truth, I am the Light of the World.

However, I am clearly not my Father: therefore neither am I His Word.

Logic depends on one's viewpoint and purpose. You presumed that both you and I are speaking to all sincere Christians on this forum. I did not make that strong and likely inaccurate assumption. And also, I do not take for granted that when I talk about God and His Son, everyone understands the clear distinctions, which are numerous. I did expect that you read my posts and understood why I expressed myself as I did. Perhaps you did not.

Agency, a very useful and common term of the OT. A term for our mediator to God for us, and the light to this fallen world, Christ Jesus and his spirit.

The question I posed to you is far more important and beyond satisfying your unjustified concern that I did not follow and adhere to some type of classroom format of yours.

I take it you either do not know the answer to my question or care not to answer it for some reason.

I asked a poignant question: Who do you ultimately serve? I gave 3 verse references that you must be familiar with. I believe writing them all out serves no real purpose and only detracts from my question I posed.

James 1:17 is sufficient, and it truly answers my question. And there are other scripture if one wants to add them.
Let me then explain this verse for you...

James 1:17 states that every good and perfect gift originates from above, coming down from the Father of lights, in whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.

This verse emphasizes that all genuine goodness and perfection in life come from God, the Father, who is the ultimate source of light, knowledge, purity, and happiness.

The term "Father of lights" refers to God as the origin of all light, both physical (like the sun, moon, and stars) and spiritual (such as divine truth, grace, and the use and presence of himself, his word, and his holy Spirit, that provides in our world, a multitude of spirits for his purpose with various functions).

The distinction between "good gift" and "perfect gift" highlights different aspects of divine giving: "good gift" (dosis) focuses on the act of giving, while "perfect gift" (dorema) refers to the gift itself as complete and lacking nothing.

A perfect gift fully accomplishes the giver’s purpose, and only God, the Father, being perfect, can bestow such gifts.

This includes spiritual gifts like wisdom, faith, discernment, service, teaching, and encouragement, which are given by his Holy Spirit and no other person, for the benefit of the body of genuine believers.

Crucially, the verse affirms God’s unchanging nature—He is immutable, consistent, and reliable, unlike the shifting shadows or changing light of the physical world.

This stability means that God does not tempt anyone to sin, and any good gift, even trials, is part of His faithful and benevolent plan.

While trials may test faith, they are not from God as sources of evil, but are permitted by Him for spiritual growth and maturity.

The ultimate perfect gift is Jesus Christ, his spirit, the Father's Son spirit, through whom genuine believers become a holy body as one, and receive eternal life (the crown of life) and the ability to draw near to God with confidence.

Thus, believers are encouraged to recognize God’s goodness in all circumstances, knowing that He remains constant and faithful.

We ultimately serve God, who is my Father and the same Father of my lord and savior, the man Jesus, the one the Father made Messiah, for himself, and those who would posses his spirit at their rebirth.

Well, I agree with that, but we may not serve Jesus the same. My purpose is to teach the uncut word of God according to the Prophets (Old Testament) and the Apostles (New Testament). I observe the Lord’s Sabbath Day, the Lord’s Feast Days (as outlined in Leviticus 23rd chapter), and the Lord’s Dietary Law (as outlined in Leviticus 11th chapter). I teach and observe the Royal Law, which is the Ten Commandments.

I also believe in the resurrection and that Jesus is the King of Israel who will rule over the House of Jacob forever. I believe Jesus is the God of all people and his house “shall be a house of prayer for all people”. (Isaiah 56:7)

Jesus say in (Mat.7:21) “Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven”. For students to succeed in school, students learn to follow their teachers' instructions, and learn their lessons carefully. But few apply this method when they are dealing with the word of God. Is Jesus your Lord? Then why don’t you do the things he says. (Luke 6:46) “And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say”? He told you plainly: (Ex 20:8-10) (v.8) Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. (v.9) Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: (v.10) “But the seventh day is the Sabbath of the LORD thy God”.

Paul say in 2 Corinthians 11:4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him. Now any Christian in their right mind wouldn’t dare say that it’s okay to steal, kill or commit adultery or break any of the other seven commandments. But when it comes to the fourth commandment, people avoid it like a plague! They are either uninformed about which day is the Sabbath day of the God of the Bible or they are just following the tradition of religion that was passed down through the family or maybe they have let some preacher give them other excuses for ignoring God’s true day of worship.

We have another Jesus that do not follow after Bible. Paul say in (1 Tim.4: 1) Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; The first day of the week, as the Sabbath day, is the doctrine of the devil. Satan is always trying to mimic God. So if it is not of God then it is of Satan. So if the seventh day Sabbath (Saturday) is a sign between God and His people. Then the first day (Sunday) is a sign between somebody and his people. You can’t have it both ways you are either in or out. Paul says in 2 Corinthians 11: 4 For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him.

Also Paul say in (1 Cor.10:20-22) (v.20) “and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils”. (v.21) Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. (v.22) Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

Which Jesus you serve?

Which Jesus you serve?
Attempting to alter course and avoid my question posed to you I see...

Jesus the Messiah isn't my main or ultimate goal or reason for living. I serve and worship my God, my Father in heaven, above all. Do my words upset you because I don't serve Yeshua just like his Father?

Let me make this clear.

You teach others about the 10 Commandments, as you mentioned in your last post to me. What did the Son of God say was the greatest command from God?

One scribe came close and heard their argument. He saw Jesus answer well. So he asked,

"Which command is the first one?"

Jesus replied,

"The first is this: 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength.'"

I don't think Jesus put himself in that command. I hope you see it that way too.

So why do I serve my lord and Messiah, my savior, in a way that's different from his Father? It's to truly serve and honor God, his Father and mine, just as his Son did and still does today, and into the future. That's the only path. It's what I aim for in life. If God my Father chose a way without a Son to bring him glory and my salvation, I'd follow that way too. But God sent his Son into the world for my salvation. His Son is the sole path to God and my rescue.

Jesus said he is the way, the truth, and the life. He added, "No one reaches the Father except through me."

This shows his unique role as the go-between for God and people. The apostle Paul agreed when he wrote, "There is one God and one go-between for God and men, the man Christ Jesus."

No other person can join in this service or link with God without the Son, his presence, or his real spirit.

This tells us that all true service to God happens through trust and genuine faith in Jesus, his finished works and in his words, and especially his active spirit with the lives of genuine believers today. He alone brought us back to the Father with his death and rising from the dead.

We serve both God and his Son, but the Father stays at the heart of our service and worship.

As a final driving nail, serving God the Father without Christ doesn't work. It's not possible for real salvation. Sin keeps us apart from God. Jesus fills that divide. He paid for sin and lived a perfect life of service that honors the Father.

So to serve the Father in a way he accepts, we join with Christ's spirit with his body. We depend on his completed work for our salvation, through real faith.

I repeat: I serve God my Father, the source of light and all creation. I do it through his Son's spirit that lives in me and leads me to follow the Father's will. Sometimes I sense it fully. Other times, I don't notice it at all.

You misunderstand the very thing Jesus came to reveal. You speak as if the Father is one path and Jesus is another, or as if honoring Jesus somehow takes away from honoring the Father. But Jesus Himself shows the truth clearly. He said, “I and My Father are one” (John 10:30). You cannot separate them. To honor the Father is to honor the Son, and to refuse the Son is to refuse the Father who sent Him.

You say Jesus did not place Himself in the great commandment, yet Jesus also said that loving Him is part of loving the Father. He said, “If God were your Father, you would love Me” (John 8:42). He also said, “He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him” (John 5:23). So you cannot say you serve the Father while lowering the Son to a lesser place. Jesus does not allow that.

You quoted the greatest commandment, but you ignored what Jesus said next. The second commandment is “You shall love your neighbor as yourself,” and Jesus showed that He is the one who defines who our neighbor is and how to love. And again and again He speaks as the One with authority equal to God. When Thomas saw the risen Lord, he said directly to Jesus, “My Lord and my God!” (John 20:28). Jesus did not correct him. He accepted that worship because it was true.

You also forget that the Father Himself gives His people to Jesus. Jesus said, “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me” (John 6:37) and again, “Yours they were, and You gave them to Me” (John 17:6). So when you speak as though you serve the Father above Jesus, you are ignoring the Father’s own act of placing His people into the hands of His Son.

You quoted Jesus saying He is the way to the Father, but you try to use that verse to lower Him. Jesus did not say, “I point to the way.” He said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). That is not the language of a mere messenger but of the One who shares the very life of the Father. Jesus also said, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9). If that does not show oneness with God, nothing will.

Your words create a false separation. You speak as if worship of Jesus is optional or secondary. But Jesus says it plainly: “All should honor the Son just as they honor the Father” (John 5:23). Your teaching does not do that. You give the Father words of worship, but you hold back from the Son the honor He says He must receive. This is not faithfulness. It is disobedience to the Lord Himself.

And you use Paul to support ideas that Jesus never taught. Jesus never said the Sinai covenant was bondage. He upheld God’s commandments and taught them as the path of life. Jesus said if we love Him, we will keep His commandments (John 14:15). He pointed people back to God’s law, not away from it. To claim otherwise is to fight the words of Christ.

You say you serve the Father “through the Son’s spirit,” but then you speak as though Jesus is less than the Father. This is not how Jesus speaks. Jesus says the Father and the Son act together, speak together, and judge together. He said, “The Father and I will come and make Our home with him” (John 14:23). Not one without the other. Never divided. Always one.

So here is the truth you are refusing to see:
You cannot serve the Father while lowering the Son.
You cannot honor God while denying the oneness He revealed between Himself and His Son.
You cannot claim the Father without bowing fully to the Son.

Jesus is not an optional helper beside God. He is God’s own Word, God’s own image, God’s own presence among us.Those who truly serve the Father hear the Son, follow the Son, love the Son, and honor the Son exactly as they honor the Father.

Anything less is rebellion, not devotion.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
