I'm not saying they should be excommunicated--I'm saying they need to be removed from leadership. The Bible is quite clear about the qualities which are necessary for leading God's people. Protestants (especially "Prosperity Gospel" preachers) have had their share of scandals as well--mostly because many of them worship mammon. I am just as much of an advocate of removing them from leadership as well.

A pity the simplicity of local church activities shown in Acts 2.41-42 is not adhered to, so often.

    Paul reject denomination.

There is no position in the Bible higher than the local church preacher.

    There are no apostles today.

Some within the Church know much more that the Preacher you know, I have come across many who are hopeless, for one I was siting at the table of one and it was not until I was driving back, that my in laws said that she was their new preacher  oh so that's the one that my father in law has been bagging all the time, about being such an dill that knows bugger all and claims stupid such things as too embrace Islam:eek::oops::rolleyes:o_O:confused:.
They did not introduce me to her as their preacher, I wonder why.:D it was an award night of all within the church's of the State and my mother in law was their to get an award and I drove them up to the show.

What really gets on my goat is Priest who have a Child and do not accept such as their own Child, can't understand that one. must be a cooled hearted bastard for sure. I would not have anything to do with such a Priest regardless.

Does anyone know of one, that had a Child that all knew about and was accepted as such in the RCC.

It is a failure of the church to make someone a preacher that knows less than the membership.

And 'she' as a preacher is a biblical nonstarter.

That could be true, but there is always others within the members that is better than the preacher at times.

They have another woman preacher now, but this one may be better than the other one but still is pushing that we must embrace Islam above all.
Fact is that Islam will truly only truly embrace them :( and then it will be too late for them.

Could a woman 100 years ago do what Preachers did back then and before, like jump on a horse by ones self in the dark of night at anytime to go aid miles away.

From what I know of our Preachers was that they get a call late at night and then drove flat out to get their in time before someone had died.

I expect in the old days that Preachers had to deal with a lot of bastards that lurked about that would give them a hard time, a woman would have a hell of a time even if it was ok to be one, so I can't see how they could of been one. but I know plenty of women who are truly dedicated to God for sure and great inspiring and fantastic Bible teachers.
But People are not always smiles and sunshine you know that one comes across.

But because nowadays a woman can become a Preacher, I am not sure that majority of men would truly listen to such much at all.
I know that my elder brother does not take anything seriously that a woman would say, he claims that they all talk just rubbish 24/7 but the girl friends that he has had are all like that. my wife does not talk rubbish like that and nor does my younger brothers wife as they have their head screwed on. but my sisters hubby is what I call a metro boy, just full of it and a bone lazy lefty that is happy to let her go and do all the bread wining for him, he is ok but their is much worse out their I am sure but just typical lefty that cry's that everything is just too hard for him to do and calling on others to help him out.

I believe that a Preacher has to be a real man that's willing to take on anyone come hell or high water and not the wimp's that we see about nowadays that you can't even hardly hear speak in church with a mic. but that's the work of Satan nowadays that has been determined to undermining real Preachers of God for years. so we have so many silly people, who are truly only peddling Political Correctness served up as a socialism god that all must obey. or they go off their rocker if you offend their new age gods.

Everyone is equal you know ! Don't try to challenge that because That would not be PC.
But what was it that God said, I thought that it was that all are equal under God. that's under God only or before God. and not what the tempter claims is said, that you are all equal ? because no one is equal in fact.

    False argument.

The Bible says a woman shall not be a preacher. Because a woman was not to have spiritual authority over a man.

No one has Spiritual authority over anyone, their have been woman Saints you know.
The only one who has authority over Man is Jesus Christ end of story.
What you are looking for is licence.
Within the Church one does not get all their understanding from the Preacher, many will help in that and some much better than the Preacher ever was in fact, I can look back and know who was more influential by far as to bringing me Jesus Christ, be that a woman or man. they do much more and maybe not even knowing that they have, it's because of their example that is a powerful because I know that their faith in their heart is pure and willing 24/7 and no one will stomp it out come hell or high water, but sadly there is many a Preacher that is only doing a job, playing the man and is a grub at heart let alone a snivelling coward.

One should never idolise a man because of a position that he holds.

Treat others as you would wish to be treated yourself.
Then you don't have to look inside their pants before you think.
