kcnalp, on point. in that one verse is so much information. oh if many would could just understand the "First", and the "Last" is the same one person. all theses misconceptions could be eliminated. God, JESUS said MY HAND laid the foundation of the earth. HOLD it, is not God a "Spirit", so what do he means "my HAND?" ... (smile). lets check the record, Isaiah 63:12 "That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?". God "ARM?" or this, Exodus 15:8 "And with the blast of thy nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea."
so God have hands, and a nose?...... (smile). anthropomorphic? yes, and those human characteristics MANIFESTED in the flesh as a man, the Son the Last Adam, or the ordinal Last, the "POWER and WISDON which is GOD.
kcnalp, you have the RIGHT scripture, GOD "POWER", himself is demonstrated in these human characteristics. MY ARM is ME as in Revelation 3:12 THIS IS THE LORD JESUS SPEAKING, "Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name." who name did he write? HIS "OWN" NAME.
the scriptures are great, self answering, and self revelating.

I thought the word of God made Jesus(flesh)....Matt 1..."thou shalt bring forth a son".
Not, the word of God turned into flesh.

What? Is there anything in the Christian Bible you believe? Honestly, anything? Do you have to challenge every verse of the Bible?
It says the word of God was with God and was God.
It does not say Jesus was with God and was God.
How can a singular God be WITH a singular God and be a singular GOD?
Also, the KJV says the word was MADE flesh.
Not Divine Spirit was made flesh.
3 chapters later per John 4:24, Jesus did not say God was made flesh, but was a Spirit.
It is amazing how the enemy can take a simple truth and change it into a lie and create a whole doctrine based on it,
You are right.
And to continue to perpetuate the lie, the commentary gets deeper and deeper.
People then become disciples of theologians and commentary and not the Bible only.

I am simply saying that NOBODY gives the Father the credit for Jesus' earthly works.
