Usually christians side with C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia.

Or J.R.R. Tolkien's Hobbit and Lord of the Rings.

Are there other great christian epics in fiction I missed?

Well there is the Christians fiction of what is called once saved always saved and calvinism

But those are more like comedy

The CS Lewis sci-fi trilogy is pretty awesome. "Out of the Silent Planet" "Perelandra" "That Hideous strength"

Harry Blamires, I think it was called The Heavenly Trilogy, something like that.

Cold War in Hell
Highway to Heaven

Largely unknown, but excellent reading. I first read these over 30 years ago, and the impact remains.
