ship wreck

In 1Tim. 1:19 we have a shipwreck. First we want to say that all things work together for good. The whole world is observing a shipwreck of high magnitude. 85-90 million dollars crashed. We who are Christians are more value than that to God.
He wants us to not just believe in Jesus but have a good conscience. A shipwrecked Christian is a great catastrophe. Jesus paid a high price to forgive sins so we would keep a good conscience. That is a moral, ethical, integrity in a world of bad consciences.

We won't tolerate trojans, worms, malicious spyware, hijackers etc. Our computers are important to us. We use them and they keep us happy. We should feel the same about what we are downloading in our minds and lives. slothful is like a computer full of errors which slow it down. Paul says lay aside the weights that slow us down in running the race of life. The blood of Jesus deletes all sin from our memory and conscience. Heb.6:19 jesus is our anchor of hope. God bless.

2Cronicles 20:35-37 just a few days before the shipwreck I had read this passage. Here we have a real example for us. alience with the wrong people can get us in trouble.
2Jn. 1:9-10 shows us a seperation from certain people. They have another doctrine.
2Cor. 6:14 be not unequally yoked with unbelievers.
Jude 1:12 they feast with you feeding themselves without fear.

Jehoshaphat lost hs ships because of his being in partners with Ahaziah. The predestined timing of God is how he uses events and things to reveal to us what he wants to say to us. The ship is about the timing God is saying to the christians come out and be seperated from the world's ways. Why now? He's coming real soon.
