It seems to me Democrats and Republicans could sit down and try to solve the problem of so many shootings we have, particularly in schools.

People who just want to ban guns have to understand that without guns, there would never have been an American Revolution – the United States never would have come into existence.

I’m hearing that many of the shootings are by men, ages 18-21, with handguns, who have been suicidal, whose fathers weren’t around to raise them. Maybe it would be helpful to concentrate on this group of people.

Democrats and Republicans can get together and talk for as long as they want about how to solve these kinds of issues, but unless the solution involves keeping God's commandments, it'll all be a gigantic waste of time and energy.

The Bible teaches in Isaiah that this world doesn't know the way to peace because they rely on the Jer. 17:9 mind to solve problems. And as Isaiah also teaches, whoever continues to rely on that Jer. 17:9 mind will never know peace.

The UN has been a gigantic flop of an experiment for the same exact reason: it's full of people thinking they possess the inherent ability to solve spiritual problems with political solutions.

God has already given humanity the way to peace through His laws, but this world and its false religions are fundamentally built on rejecting them. All of these shootings are God's way of allowing this country to see the fruits of their false reasoning, and yet people will still continue to offer empty religious-sounding platitudes and useless policies that will achieve nothing of import in the long run.

Yes, our nation seems to have strayed far from God, and now we have trouble. You try to explain this to people, and they don't listen.

The MSM is busy reporting on shootings that aren't anything new. They just weren't being reported ....that is, until they want to get people riled up about stricter gun laws. Philadelphia already had over 900 shootings deaths this year so far before the last so-called "mass shooting." And these have been going on for years. Certain areas are prone to higher violence. It's nothing new.

There are a few things that would help but they are not going to happen.
The demonrats want to publicize all the shooting because they think they can turn America against guns. Why not they turned America against cigarettes and second hand smoke.....and now people are not putting their parents and grandparents out in the snow to smoke.

The people that do most of the mass shooting have mental issues....so we have to start tracking them. HIPA in the trash. Restrictions on driver's licenses.

But also getting attention for these crazy people is the most important thing, even more important than living. So they do not need to cover these events. Copycat killers. We definitely do not need to show their faces on TV....."I killed ten kids and I was on national TV!"

Keeping ole' Sparky warm would reduce some shootings and murders....but not the ones that are completely insane. And people need to see that.

This nation has most definitely strayed from God, and has been for decades ....or more. So goes the whole world. Wickedness will continue to increase because people don't like to retain God in their knowledge. And the love of many has grown cold.
