Ronald Lee Haskell, accused of killing six members of ex-wife Katie Stay’s family

Ronald Lee Haskell, 33, is accused of killing his ex-wife’s sister, Katie Stay, her husband and the children, ranging in age from 4 to 14, after binding and putting them facedown on the floor of their suburban Houston home. Each was shot in the back of the head after the family refused to tell Haskell where he could find his ex-wife, officials said.
The lone survivor of the Wednesday attack, the slain couple’s 15-year-old daughter, suffered a fractured skull when a bullet grazed her head.

It's things like this that I point to when talking about the existence of hell to those who don't believe in it. The strongest argument for hell is the sheer balance of justice we leave this earth with, the fact that man is inadequate at dispensing the amount of justice for many of the crimes committed. This man murdered a family. Another might be a serial child molester with over 100 victims to his name. Still another may be guilty of genocide and other war crimes.

What we capture these men and bring them to justice? Is there anything we can do to them, up to and including torture and death, that would satiate the enormous offense they perpetrated?

People know instinctively that there is a God, that God is watching and that final justice will be dispensed. The pitched atrocities committed by man DEMAND AND SCREAM for such eternal justice. To believe that people like this go through life destroying the lives of others and then just wink out of existence, having gotten away with their crimes, can drive a person insane. A reasonable person knows this can't be, that somewhere in the cosmos, the scales of justice must be leveled.

Eternal damnation exists. The actions of man require it.

We must keep it together............for we know why this is happening.............it sadens Christ more..... that they didn't know Him.
I'm sure these people were told about Him in years past, maybe by a friend, grandmother so on.

And it should saden us also.............even for the person who pulls the trigger......that they might be in hell right this minute
not for what they have done......but for not have givin their lives to Christ.

For we also know...if they had givin their lives to Christ...........this would not have happened.

Man hates mans sins.......................God hates all sin............to God a lie is just as bad as murdering..........
and to us.......no faith is a sin to Him.

We are where we are today.........because of the quiet Christian......because of the lazy Christian....because of the not involved Christian

....if people don't understand that then lets put it this way.........................who's winning?

Christians have been to silent for to many years...........and....they seem to be staying that way.

And yes! Come Jesus Come quickly!!

Maybe i should have put it this way..........people should know if they are saved.....and not have to wonder, guess or say...gee, i sure hope so.
No...Jesus lets you know for sure.........just can't see someone doin things of that nature if they had been forgivin by Christ.

They would be in here with you and me.................proclaiming the good news.

We have come to the point where many even water down the power of Christ.......they have never experienced nor challenge to do so...
so........they never know how much more there is out there with Christ.

I look at Christians the way they should be........................HOT ON FIRE!
For if Jesus was standing right beside them........would they not be? HA!!!!!!! but truth be known He is..........AMEN!!!!

For..........that is how we should be.............

Many who call themselves "Christian" fail to grasp why moral conditions are plummeting. They are unable to understand the time period we are living in, called by Jesus his (invisible) "presence" at Matthew 24:37, 39. Four of Jesus apostles (Mark 13:3) asked Jesus a composite question three days before he died: "Tell us, when will these things be (of a stone not being left upon a stone concerning the temple, Matt 24:2), and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things ?”(Matt 24:3)

In answering their question, Jesus said that "because of the increasing of lawlessness, the love (Greek agape) of the greater number will grow cold."(Matt 24:12) Hence, lack of agape (self-sacrificing) love, that started to be more noticeable when Jesus invisible "presence" began in 1914 when he was installed as king of God's Kingdom, would continue to accelerate, growing steadily worse as time progressed. And why ?

At Revelation 12, it shows a scene of Michael (Jesus heavenly name) and his angels battling Satan and his angels, and in which Satan and his demonic agents lose the battle and are thrown down to the earth, being confined here. It need be noted that Satan is "misleading the entire inhabited earth", having sway over all the political governments, pushing false religion (Babylon the Great, Rev 17:5) and sinisterly promoting greed among the business world. (Rev 12:7-9)

As a result, with lack of love now dominating the earth, a true Christian is not surprised by the atrocity of Ronald Haskell. Revelation 12:12 says: "On this account be glad, you heavens and you who reside in them !(the loyal angels who no longer has to put up with Satan and his wicked angelic followers) Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to you, having great anger, knowing that he has a short period of time.”

Since 1914 with his ouster, Satan has been angry for having been thrown out of heaven against his will. But now 100 years later, he is now more angry than ever, and determined to cause as much havoc as he can. Due to his wicked influence (though unseen), the earth has deteriorated morally to a level never seen in history.

There are those, on the other hand, that fail to see any changes in people's attitudes, for the apostle Peter prophetically said: "First of all know this, that in the last days ridiculers will come with their ridicule, proceeding according to their own desires and saying: “Where is this promised presence of his ? Why, from the day our forefathers fell asleep in death, all things are continuing exactly as they were from creation’s beginning.”(2 Pet 3:3, 4) Thus, Peter correlated the "last days" with Jesus "promised presence". They are one and the same and that many would fail to see the scope of changes that are affecting mankind.

Since Jesus revealed that lack of agape love would dominate the earth because of Satan's wicked influence, then the further we are in the "last days" or Jesus "promised presence", the more we will see the collapse of morality. Soon, however, the "last days" will end, the end of the "conclusion of the system of things"(Matt 24:3, "the last days", Jesus "promised presence" and the "conclusion of the system of things" are synonymous).

Proverbs 2 says: "For only the upright will reside in the earth, and the blameless will remain in it. As for the wicked, they will be cut off from the earth, and the treacherous will be torn away from it."(Prov 2:21, 22) This is in harmony with David's words at Psalms 37: "Just a little while longer, and the wicked will be no more; You will look at where they were, and they will not be there. But the meek will possess the earth, and they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.....forever."(Ps 37:10, 11, 29)

Only "meek" ones (those who are teachable by Jehovah God) will remain on the earth after all others are decimated (Rev 7:14), which includes the churches of Christendom and all other false religion (Rev 17:16), as well as greedy commerce (Rev 19:19-21) and the political "ten horns" (Rev 17:12) or all political governments now existing, along with its "image" (Rev 13:14), the United Nations.

Man Im really getting tired of the self righteous.

You know what pal, if you have something to teach then teach it, but there are many who call themselves "Christian" who are just trying their best to get from one day to the next with the assured hope that comes from the Salvation of Jesus Christ, while other supposed :"Christians" make judgement calls on their faith due to the extent of their knowledge in the eyes of the upright and uptight.

I noticed that too and I didn't read that post any further than you did because it flagged itself as trolling in the first 5 words.

You already expand the definition of Christian to one who defends evil, but now you propose that Christian also encompasses those who perpetrate evil?

I know bro i even started a thread over it LOL, I think I may be a little touchy of late.

I mean i understand what the guy was getting at but that still doesnt change how we all feel. I look forward to the coming of Christ and I am tortured by the evil in this world, isnt it enough to feel that.

Much love to you brother

Experts examine the case of toddler Cooper Harris who died of heat stroke in his father’s car
http://www.news.com.au/world/experts-examine-the-case-of-toddler-cooper-harris-who-died-of-heat-stroke-in-his-fathers-car/story-fndir2ev-1226986728238

Strapped into a car seat with the windows up tight on a 33 degree celsius summer’s day.
And that doesn’t even come close to the actual, roasting temperature inside the vehicle.
For a period within seven hours in a prison of glass, metal and dwindling oxygen, Cooper fought to escape.
Bloodied scrapes on his tiny soft neck and face told of a gut-wrenching battle to get out alive.
But he had no hope and no one saw him, heard him or saved him. So he died of heatstroke in his T-shirt and shorts, alone and in agony.

Speaking of a sick world, now people are proposing a "shoe trick" to remind yourself that you have a child in the back seat and not to leave them in a hot car. I'm not making this up: http://www.usatoday.com/story/news/nation/2014/07/02/child-deaths-hot-cars-solution/12098917/

I have 4 children, the oldest of which is 11 and the youngest is now 7 months old. My wife and I have never even come close to forgetting that we have a child strapped in a rear facing car seat. I really have to wonder at any parent who needs a "shoe trick" to remember they have a kid.

Crazy, I never left my boy in the car, his head was too big to go un-notice, thankfully he grew in to it.

It is easy to forget important things. We all di it. Thank God most people will never have to deal with consequences as horrible as these. How many people here remember to walk around there car before driving it to look for children or animals? Before you automatically say ye, I have never seen it happen. What I have seen is, every summer on the news children being run over by people who forgot to check. All of these people have to live the rest of their lives with the consequences of their mistakes. This is already a type of Hell that could happen to all of us.

This is very true aspen, but whats worse is the father in the news article above did it on purpose.

"Whether it was a deliberate act of homicide or a fatal and stupid mistake by an innocent father is for the courts to decide."

I do not think the article came to a conclusion about his guilt or innocence.
