Sign Petition for Broadcast Freedom Act

I just finished watching Jay Sekulow's(of ACLJ -American Center for Law and Justice) show and wanted to urge you all to join with me in signing the petition to stop the reinstatement of the 1960's Kennedy era Fairness Doctrine that Democrats and RINO's want to reinstate. Jay wants to get a million signatures this month. We want our elected officials to enact the Broadcast Freedom Act of 2007 which will stop any chance of the fairness doctrine being enacted in the future. The Fairness Doctrine prohibits Freedom of Speech in America and they want to silence us!1)Please call 1-877-989-2255 and put your name on the petition or go to www.aclj.org for a complete presentation and to sign the petition.2)Also,You can email or call your elected officials and tell them you want them to sign the Broadcasters Freedom Act of 2007, which will stop Fairness Doctrine from ever being enacted again!History:The Fairness Doctrine was enacted during the JF Kennedy's (a democrat)administration to harass right wing broadcasters and to stop opposing views to them from being heard. The fairness doctrine required that both sides be heard equally.This was far too expensive for broadcasters to do.Thank GOD, The Fairness Doctrine was removed as law in 1987 and that is when Talk radio and Christian radio exploded. Unfortunately for the left, Air America, their liberal talk radio failed, because no one wanted to hear factless, hate speech.I don't know if you ever heard a liberal talk(Alan Colmes of Hannity and Colmes is a good example), but they usually don't debate on facts,they just tend to over talk their opponents or do whatever it takes to shut up any one in opposition to them.Through talk radio, we have been kept informed of all the goings on in Washington.Without them, we won't know all the sneaky deals that are going on on a daily basis.When we are kept informed of the issues, we as Americans, can take an active part in this wonderful democracy GOD has blessed us with!
