Funny you are so against "judging/condemning" the unbelieving while you are always "judging/condemning" God's people.
Poor you. Have you never read the bible? You need correction for every thought you are producing.
But I will treat you as the novice you are and teach you something very basic....from the bible.
For what have I to do with judging those also who are outside? Do not ye judge those who are within? 1 Cor 5:12
But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person. 1 Cor 5:13
Paul goes on to say that God judges those who are outside. Of course many here have dared to claim to have the same attributes as God, but I haven't seen any that claim to be God...yet. Are you saying
you are God who judges those who are outside the church? How far does your pretend status take you...to the limits of the imagination?
Are you applying these things to me personally? Perhaps I should let you know a few things. I am not materially rich although I have fared better than many in third world countries. I know what it is to have utilities cut off on a couple of occasions and to miss a meal for lack of funds so that my family could eat. I have found the narrow way to be a hard road, not easy at all.
Losing our lives in this world for His sake.......He hasn't hidden that truth from me.
I hope I don't condemn anybody, righteous or unrighteous.
You wipe your mouth and claim to have done nothing wrong. You have condemned Catholics who are actual believers. You condemn the meek and the poor in countries with few or no churches. You look down on all who are not blessed in the same ways you are.
And I know it is better for anyone to live righteously in their own flesh, than to sin. It helps to avoid curses in this life and sometimes perhaps may even attract the favour of God so that He will reveal Christ and save the person. But I also know from God's word that nobody's own human righteousness is sufficient in itself for eternal life......it falls short of eternal life.......even righteous Job needed to repent.
Job was elevated into a holy intimacy with God. But you are forgetting that Job was
already righteous in God's eyes...which you will deny...and lie and be dishonest about all day long...because it doesn't work in your still very carnal mind.
I do not claim an immunity from prosecution from sin if I or anyone were to pursue a course of wilfully sinning.
But to deny the truth of what you are always doing is WILFUL sinning. You refuse to consider your own iniquity.
But believers are covered under the blood for inadvertently or unknowingly sinning in our immaturity while we are pursuing a course of seeking first the kingdom of God and His righteousness/holiness. Holiness is not out of the equation to me, I believe we are to seek it. Can't say for sure, but I have a hunch that if anyone thinks they are holy, then maybe they are not yet holy enough. The race is not over until our life on earth is over.
Futility.
