The Barna Research Group estimates that the percentage of devoted and/or consecrated in any people group is roughly the same--about 5%. Ellen G. White once said that "not one in twenty whose names are registered upon the church books are prepared to close their earthly history and would be as verily without hope and without God in the world as the common sinner." She also said over 100 years ago that if Seventh-day Adventists had conscientiously done their duty we would have been in the Heavenly kingdom long before then.

Ah my friend, who does not? Presuming on the OSAS pathway may ease some people minds. That is OK so long as they do not then ease up on serving the One they are supposed to love above all things.

Do we... love Him above all things? Saying the single word will not make it so, will it?
