Hi everyone,

My name is Adrian and I'm new to the forum

I'm 19 and a philosophy student.

This year, I started a YouTube channel with my father to create and share videos that explore the Scripture with an interesting and new dynamic, starting with Ecclesiastes.

As the pandemic hit, we've been able to wrap up our Ecclesiastes series, and I'm happy to say that we've just completed our first short film! It's just about two minutes long, and heavily inspired by the description of spiritual warfare in Ephesians. It's a great achievement for us, and I'm really happy to be able to finally share it.

You seem like quite a good reader; nice dramatic flair, and with a polished delivery. If this is something you enjoy and feel called to, I'm sure you will find followers who enjoy your work, so keep pursuing what the Lord has interested you in.

About the spiritual battle in my own life, far too much to get into, but not being ignorant of the enemy's devises is a big part of the victory. When he is exposed the cover is blown off of what he is planning to do, suddenly it becomes much easier knowing the will of God from the deceptions Satan is trying to attempt.

I wish you blessings in your work, and wanted to say hello on behalf of the forum.

Hi Adrian and welcome to the forum.
You are from Trinidad and Tobago, i have a lot of relatives that live on an island near you called Curaçao.

It sounds like u have a close relationship with your dad. That's good, it shows that your head is in the right place

I love the topic of Spiritual Warfare but i find it isn't a very popular subject to talk about among Christians.
My spiritual war is primarily fought in the battle fields of my mind, u know, all these negative thoughts and feelings that are contrary to love and humility like hate, selfishness, dissent, discord, judgmental, greed, pride, indignation, lust, envy, resentment and the like.
I try my best to speak and act from a place of love and humility.

The evil one often attacks when we are weak just like he did with Christ when he went 40 days without food and water.
I could go through many of his attacks throughout my life but most recently i had a death in my family and the evil one was playing games with my mind. But thanks be to God as i was given the strength through the Holy Spirit and the armour of God.

I make Youtube videos also. I like this video. I thought the music and lighting were very dramatic and I liked the jump cuts and changes in perspective. I personally might have limited the amount. But well done.

As with the others, my battle is internal and my weapons are my faith and my Bible study. But my challenge is everyday life and everyday people. As we know, the fruits of the spirit are peace, patience, kindness and etc. Am I peaceful? Am I patient. Am I kind? There is where the ax meets the tree.

Keep up the good work and we expect more from you and dad. :)

Nice work Adrian, great expression in the dialogue, nice ambiance and effects with the cinematography. I found though, that the volume of your voice was competing with the music too much throughout the video, and I could barely hear you at all during the last 45 seconds (good thing that I already knew the verses - lol).
