There are no 'oopsies' in scripture, only in human understanding.
Why would anyone think the thief was baptized? He was being executed because he was a very wicked person, to which he personally admitted. I see no reason to believe he was baptized.1) Many people think the thief on the cross was baptized by John at some previous time ..
2} And Many Other people think the thief had never been baptized ..
of the two points of view the first one is more in harmony ,, with what Jesus says about baptism.. than the second view

Nope. The Blood of Jesus does that for those who turn to Him for mercy.And Jesus was being executed because every one in the whole world but him ---- is a very wicked person,, baptized or not.
baptism brings us into that wonderful forgivness won by christ on the cross Gods great exchage ..
