Take a moment to step away from all the anxiety, worry, frustration, and angst of our current social and political climate. And just read this verse to yourself a few times.
It's okay to turn off "the world" for a time, and just be with the Lord. He doesn't need us to save the day or fight His battles. Everyone needs a moment of rest and respite.
Romans 8:38-39 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
