Galatians 2:19-20 KJV
19) For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.
20) I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

I've quoted passages such as this one, to have others reply that this is the testimony of Paul, and that it doesn't automatically apply to anyone else, Christian or otherwise.

I don't think that's true. I think Paul is referencing himself to teach us things about all the redeemed.

What do you think? Does this passage tell us a general truth about being regenerated? Or does this passage tell us Paul's advancement in the faith, but not necessarily other people?

Much love!

Other verses back up that this should be the experience of all Christians.

Romans 8:29 KJV

29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

Its all about becoming more and more like Jesus and less like ourselves! He lives in us.
John 15:1-4 KJV

15 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
