Terrifying dream

Hey Truman, I think I'm starting to understand this dream from the posts that were encouraging about it. Thanks for your input.

Yes it seems to me God wants to send you a shower of his spirit and blessing and it appears your trst with him is a bit shakey so you may be a bit hesitant to accept it or even think to yourself that you deservre it but he wants you to accept all he gives you with a joyful heart like a child.

Children don't question the gift or the reason for the gift they just are happy to get one they never turn down a free gift likewise we should never turn down a free gift from God

I have repeated dreams from God and they turn out to mean usually exactly what they are saying. I have fixed problems in my life because of it.

But the other day I slept on my back for the first time and when I did I had a dream from God. I looked up as if I was lying down in my bed as I was asleep. And I saw a great and almighty cloud above me filled with God Almighty rain. And I got the impression that the rain would come down with such fierceness as to collapse my roof.

Then I awoke. I was afraid to ask God for an interpretation as the Ukraine war was going on and I feared the dream to mean a nuclear bomb would destroy my home since I live next to a military base.

Any ideas?

That might have something to do with it as well. Maybe you wouldn't have seen the cloud if you weren't facing up. Who knows. It might be worth sleeping on your back more if your going to have great dreams...

I can't sleep on my back cos my airways block and I wake up choking so I have to sleep on my side.

Same here. Sleep apnea. I've got a CPAP machine for it now, but I've slept on my side for so long, I no longer feel comfortable sleeping on my back.

Now that you mention it, think my dreaming stopped when I got the CPAP machine. Maybe I just don't wake up during the REM stage anymore.

Well, I never had a problem with dreams, but they didn't seem to stop with the CPAP machine, anyway......

I had a memory placed in me from God. It was a dream that the Peninsula here had a volcano rise from the side of it in the water. It was a terrible dream memory and all the people were dying from the lava and trapped there. My mother and one of her friends from church had similar dreams where everything was on fire.

Well I guess I will join and share my dream...it was a recurring dream...
Me and my 2 brothers were playing and chasing each other through the house. Mom was cooking dinner and we kept getting in her way so she made us go to the bedroom and she locked the door....a long time went by and we were getting hungry and wondered why it was taking her so long...we were looking at the door and suddenly a green slime started oozing through the keyhole...(the kind you use a skeleton key for)...the was another door in the bedroom that went to the back yard...we couldn't reach the door latch so I had to stand on my brother's back to unlock it so we could escape...we got out the door and began running and when I looked back my brothers were gone...I kept running and made it to main street of the town...I fell into a manhole and down in it was a bunch of huge screens like 56" TV screens...there were strange creatures shaped like a human but fat and dark (almost black) and they were operating some kind of electronic board with switches and dials on it. One of them turned and looked at me and I said WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY FAMILY!!!
He turned on the screen and all of them were walking down mainstreet with their eyeballs hanging out and their arms and legs all twisted...(imagine zombies)....I wasn't scared but I sensed they wanted to take me to there spaceship...and I said why are you taking me?
Then I woke up....I had this dream often all the way up to when I was 18...always the same...never changed.
What's strange about this dream is I had never seen a computer or 56" TV screen or a zombie movie or a blob movie. (We didn't have a TV at that time...the house in my dream was a house we lived in when I was around 7 y.o.

No sadly mom has passed and my step-dad just passed in January.
My brothers are still here but they aren't saved. My 3 half siblings are not saved.

I think I got an answer from God on this dream. I've been working on a physics theory. I think it means God will pour out knowledge regarding the theory, but my mind will not be able to understand it. The water as a great rain falling is the spirit of knowledge, the gift of knowledge. And the roof is my mind, it will not be able to contain all the knowledge he will pour down upon me.
