This thread/subject is close to my heart, and a real blessing to me and to most I imagine; especially those already in Christ.

It should be an uplifting topic of discussion that every genuine Christian should love to share as they experience these promises in their lives, even daily.

These promises of the Father, and especially through his Son today, point to his overflowing love, mercy and his desire to restore our relationship with him.

He loves us way beyond our limited view of his divine and unique love, and speaks volumes about his character that desires to be in all of us, through his special glorious Son. The Son does a lot of the 'heavy lifting' these days for his Father....

Here's but a couple of my favorites:

(Isa 41:10) don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of My righteousness.

This was not only being fulfilled in the Old Testament, also through his right-hand, of his Son today.

This is my security blanket in life. A real life-saver when all I can do at times is to throw up my hands in the air and give thanks to my Father, and stay still and quietly pray, sometimes in tears, as I also acknowledge my friend and master, my Jesus who cried out and said 'it is finished,' in the process.

(Rom 8:28) " And we know that to them that love God, to them that are called according to His purpose- all things work together for good. "

This is a very encouraging verse for my personal life, knowing that God our Father will provide good things for his own benefit and glory, and even for my consideration in this life.

--------------------------------
Please feel free to chime in and add more and tell the reason you chose them.

Blessings and good fortune come your way, as we give thanks to God for being eternal and the architect of our lives, as our only true Father of all.

I might not be remembering correctly but as I recall, the first verse I was taught in Sunday School as a child was John 3:16. Later we were asked to memorize and recite it. I was raised KJVO, so here is how it was ingrained in my mind -

”For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

Much later in life (forty years or so) I ceased being KJVO. Now when I read John 3:16 in any translation, here is how it sounds in my mind when I ruminate on it -

“For this is the way my God and Father in heaven loves the world: He gave his only begotten Son, so that every person who believes in Jesus of Nazareth, the Messiah, should not perish but have the life of the age to come.”

God does keep his promises but conditions apply to many of them for instance, 'If my people . . . '

Throughout my walk with the Lord , ( 1964) He has used two verses repeatedly , so much so that whenever I have a worry or need I know that all will be well if He causes me to ‘trip over ‘ these verses.

“Take no thought for your life , what you shall eat , what you shall drink , and neither for your body what you shall put on. Your heaven father knows that you have need of these things ..”

”Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not unto your own understanding , in all of your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. “

Same for me. The last verse you quoted was one of mine, one of the first that I highlighted, that stuck with me since I was converted, many years ago.

So someone can teach false doctrine and still be saved?

You sure there's no warnings in God's Word about this???
You are attempting to ruin a good thread where the OP was posting a nice positive subject which glorified the Lord …you should be ashamed of doing just the opposite !

Go and post your pet peeve somewhere else ..there of lots of threads where such as you are posting here , would be welcome.

You know nothing about me, and even less on what doctrine I hold , or don’t hold …

And what has that got to do with what I said about highjacking a good and positive thread .

Not showing love is worse. Please go and start your own thread about false doctrines instead of piggy-backing it onto a positive thread.
