@Pearl Yes, and if adolescents - of both sexes - expect to pierce their ears they should just go ahead, if that's what they really want. (Often these days it eventually turns out that the young women do 2 each side and the young men do 1 each side.)

Those huge, enlarged ones are not a good idea, though, imho... :)

I think this is a distraction from the real meat of the Word of God. The best finger pointed is back to yourself and asking God to search you inside out and purify you. The New Covenant is so much better then the Old covenant. Legalities are so easy to get caught up in.
