This guy is connected somehow to Harland Hay (now deceased). He spouts the same rhetoric as Hay, and he has some of Hay's videos on his YouTube channel. Hay wrote a couple of books. His main doctrine is Constantine was the "first beast" and King James was the "second beast." He's clearly a crackpot. There's a pretty good rebuttal of Hay and his teaching here:The work of the anti-christ is becoming bolder and unashamed to blaspheme God out in the open.

Yes, it can be.The Bible is an Idol???
Just because something can be an IDOL doesn't mean it is. It's the same with a weapon. I can use a hammer to drive nails or as a weapon. I've seen people use the Bible as an IDOL, reminding them that we are not saved by parchment. It is difficult to tell what he means by saying "the bible is an idol"

I should have clarified my purpose for posting this. I just want to bring it to everyone's attention. Social media is being flooded with this kind of teaching. I pray for anyone who listens that they will not be deceived.Yes, it can be.

Claiming it is the mark of the beast is what really angered me.Bible worshipers built their church the way they wanted it….the Bible is an idol and the mark of the beast.”
Well said.....the ever increasing popularity of this kind of teaching is alarming. This is the brazen language of demons.
“Bible worshipers built their church the way they wanted it….the Bible is an idol and the mark of the beast.”
He tells you to throw your Bible away, it is just history, and get the Holy Spirit. Bu he would have never even heard about the Holy Spirit if not for the Bible.
Utter blasphemy from a hate-frenzied, possessed nutjob.
He gave his demented mind over to swarms of darkness and now they speak through him.
They like to call the Bible an idol, because they hate how it contains the power of God and, as the Sword of the Spirit, it slices them to shreds. They want you to think you can love the Bible too much, for they despise how it makes us wise unto salvation.
This made me think and meditate awhile. I can see where religions have turned it into a type of idol due to a separation of it's content by the self proclaimed truths in their doctrines. It's hard to tell where that guy is really coming from. I listen to it several times and Archorite picked up on more than I did.
But there are indeed many idol [worship] issues among so-called Christian--which, even if we don't really know about that guy, is perhaps a good topic.
There are even such issues that go on here on CB that show a disproportionate attachment to the Law, the scriptures, the Sabbath, the Temple, a denomination, a pet peeve, many traditions even, that board on idolism, maybe worse. I mean, many focus on the object rather than its spiritual counterpart. Jesus, addressed this sort of thing with the idea of "which is greater", with examples like:
“Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by the temple, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obliged to perform it.’ 17 Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that sanctifies the gold? 18 And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it is nothing; but whoever swears by the gift that is on it, he is obliged to perform it.’ 19 Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sanctifies the gift? 20 Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears by it and by all things on it. 21 He who swears by the temple, swears by it and by Him who dwells in it. 22 And he who swears by heaven, swears by the throne of God and by Him who sits on it." (Matthew 23:16-22).
In which he clarifies saying, "therefore" that even those things that are representative of that which is ultimately greater, are still at least representative. Of which there are many examples, like the bread and the cup of communion--or yes, the Bible. Still, in all things one can surely cross a line where that "which is greater" is not given the greater place in one's beliefs, or even treat the lesser as if it is all there is--when indeed, there is something "greater" that is not to be made pale by comparison in our religious practices. And in spite of the many images made manifest by God to merely represent that which is "greater."--that "greater", is most important to God.
Agreed! Most times it is people using their own private interpretation of the Bible as a weapon.
However, I think people can also use a correct interpretation at the wrong time and in the wrong place ... such as the Westboro Church's anti homosexual protests.
And the point is, where does he get the idea of such a thing as "the mark of the beast" or about such a Being as the Holy Spirit? From the bible, of course. It just doesn't make sense. This is the brazen language of demons.
