• Was the Bible written to us directly? No.
• Was it written for us — to guide, instruct, and reveal spiritual truth? Absolutely.

Paul teaches....

""""ALL Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,""

New Living Translation
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

English Standard Version
All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

Berean Standard Bible
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

Berean Literal Bible
Every Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for instruction, for conviction, for correction, and for training in righteousness,

King James Bible
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

New King James Version
All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness,

New American Standard Bible
All Scripture is inspired by God and beneficial for teaching, for rebuke, for correction, for training in righteousness;

Amplified Bible
All Scripture is God-breathed [given by divine inspiration] and is profitable for instruction, for conviction [of sin], for correction [of error and restoration to obedience], for training in righteousness [learning to live in conformity to God’s will, both publicly and privately—behaving honorably with personal integrity and moral courage];

The Bible is the story of all humanity, not just one group. While it focuses on Abraham’s descendants in parts, its scope is universal. Genesis begins with the creation of all people, and Revelation ends with the destiny of every nation. The Old Testament points to Jesus Christ (Luke 24:27), and the New Testament fulfills it, centered on Him. Jesus commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), making the Bible’s message for everyone, not just its original audience. Its timeless truths—sin, redemption, faith—apply to us today because God’s plan spans all generations (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

The Bible, both Old and New Testaments, centers on Jesus Christ. In Acts 8:26-39, Philip meets an Ethiopian eunuch reading Isaiah. When Philip asks, “Do you understand what you are reading?” the eunuch, a non-Jew, replies, “How can I unless someone guides me?” Philip doesn’t say Isaiah is only for Jews; instead, he explains that its prophecies point to Jesus Christ (Isaiah 53). This shows the Old Testament’s universal relevance through Christ. Jesus Himself commanded His disciples to preach the Gospel to all nations (Matthew 28:19-20), confirming that the entire Bible is for all humanity, revealing God’s plan through Christ (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

If you are in the Bride of Christ.. then the doctrine for the Church is written to you, no matter where you live on the Planet.
This doctrine is found in the NT.

Cool subjective opinion.

We offshoots of that first century bride in my opinion.

I know no one is governing us. Not like them, with the apostles, who left in charge of the bride.

Initially it was Paul who was their teacher..........but God then added "Pastors, Teachers, Evangelists, Prophets,"... "for the perfecting of the Saints.".. (The Bride) (The Church)
So, as "Saints" are created born again everyday for the last 2000 yrs....then all those who are in the Ministry of perfecting them are still being called to teach the Scriptures and (not commentareis or videos) to them.

The early church councils included the Old Testament in the biblical canon because it was seen as essential preparation and witness to Jesus Christ as the Messiah—the Bible's central purpose. Jesus Himself declared that "the Scriptures testify about me" (John 5:39), and He explained how the entire Old Testament points to Him (Luke 24:27). The apostles quoted the Septuagint (Greek Old Testament) extensively, treating it as authoritative Scripture for all believers, Jew and Gentile.

Key reasons for inclusion at councils like Hippo (393 AD) and Carthage (397 AD):

Prophetic fulfillment: The Old Testament's prophecies (e.g., Isaiah 53) directly foreshadow Christ, proving continuity between covenants.

Apostolic precedent: Jesus and the apostles used it in teaching and evangelism, as seen when Philip explains Isaiah to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8), showing its universal relevance through Christ.

Unity of God's revelation: One God across both Testaments; excluding the Old would reject the foundation of salvation history, from creation to redemption.

Response to heresies: Marcion's attempt to discard the Old Testament as irrelevant was condemned, affirming its divine inspiration for the whole church.

The Bible's goal is to witness that Jesus is the Messiah (John 20:31), making every part—from Genesis promises to Revelation's victory—for all humanity.

Are you saying our Omnificent God didn't know about the rise of media and how we have video cams in out phones or have content creators? Did he know about authors and books?
