Ok, thanks I’ll have to wait and see how this goes, something about what I’m hearing doesn’t fit. I’m gonna hit the rack I’ve had about maybe 10 hrs of sleep in the last three day and am exhausted from the night shift.

John the Baptist was a prophet, and he prophetically saw the Bridegroom and the Bride in the future. The Church (the Body of Christ) is not only the Body, but also the Bride and the Building. Kindly do a Concordance search for yourself. The Bride must become the Lamb's Wife eventually.

The above verse is revealing something extremely profound alright. It is a huge Key to answering your question OP.
@Waiting on him... You need to really, and I mean REALLY meditate on what 'two shall be one' means with regards to the Bride of Christ. Yes, we are talking 'Birds and the Bees' here, and that is precisely what will happen in the New Heaven and New Earth.
I will try and explain.
When a Man and a Woman decide to make a baby, it is not just 'two shall become one', it is FIVE shall become one...
- Father
- Mother
- Father's Seed
- Woman's Seed
- Spirit/Soul of Baby
The last, most crucial step is for the 5) Spirit and Soul of the Child to enter into the Zygote. That is called the moment of conception.
Step 5 is something that most folks never really consider, yet that is what we read here...
Revelation 2:7
"He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God."
When we partake of the Tree of Life, it is at that moment that our Spirit and Soul enter into the Zygote. In fact, the exact opposite happened to us when we entered into our Mother's belly. We partook of the Tree. Not the Tree of Life, but the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil...
I will now reveal how the previous 'five become one' fit with the Bride of Christ.
FIVE shall become one...
- Father - Abraham/One on the Throne
- Mother - Sarah/New Jerusalem
- Father's Seed - Blood of the Lamb/Christ
- Woman's Seed - Fruit of the Tree of Life
- Spirit/Soul of Baby - The Saved
#1 Father:
Revelation 4:2
"And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne."
The 'One' on the throne is the Father portion of the Godhead/Trinity. The One is also a representation of Abraham.
#2 Mother:
Revelation 21:2
"And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband."
New Jerusalem is Sarah and the Bride of the Lamb, which brings us to...
#3 Father's Seed:
Revelation 5:6
"And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth."
The Lamb is the 'Word' portion of the Trinity/Godhead. The reason it is 'slain' is to point the reader to the Blood of Christ. The Blood of Christ is a representation of Abraham's Seed...
Galatians 3:29
"And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise."
Abraham's Seed needs to fertilize Sarah's Ovum...
#4 Mother's Seed:
Revelation 22:2
"In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations."
Notice that the Tree of Life (Sarah's Ovaries) produces Fruit on a 'Monthly Cycle', alluding to menstruation.
Fertilization takes place here...
Revelation 22:1
"And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb."
The Throne represents the Phallus that sends 'Waters' to the Ovaries to fertilize the Fruit. Once the Fruit is fertilized, the Spirit and Souls of the Saved can now partake and become Born Again...
By the way...
The Throne Room is none other than Abraham's Bosom...
That is where the Saved rest until they can be led into the Pearly Gates.
Bottom line...
The Marriage Supper is all about Abraham and Sarah having Children via the 'Seed' of the Blood of the Lamb as well as the 'Seed' of the Fruit of the Tree of Life.
As a side note, Melchizedek represents God's 'sperm' so to speak.
And now you should understand what this verse is ultimately teaching...
2 Corinthians 11:2
"For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ."
The real 'Marriage' happens in the belly of Sarah's Womb... aka... New Jerusalem, when the Saved enter the Zygote to become Born Again.

Lol, the modern church has the bride going up in a assumed rapture, but all the witnesses of the New Testament alleged the bride is coming down.

Ah, looks like you’ve found some answers, even if they seem a bit farfetched. Looks to me like someone is filling in some blanks, but what do I know? I only read the Bible. I don’t try to make everything fit into a neat little package that makes perfect sense to my mind. :)

The Baptist said he saw the bridegroom with the bride. I want to know what John saw. I believe I know, yet most I encounter say it was me?
Hebrews 4:16 KJV
[16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
What’s written is John saw a bodily form like a dove descending on Him. I believe this was his only encounter with Jesus. I have no doubts as to who the bridegroom is, also Jesus Himself identified His disciples as the Children of the bride chamber.
