What a wonderful thought to dell upon!
Great is our God.

Satan and his hoards could see Him...but God wanted a people who would love Him "by faith"..unseen, but heard.

If God had not made us firstly spirit and secondly flesh...we could not have heard Him...we heard though our conscience and soul ..and when we hear we either "run toward Him".... or we run away...

Well put and so true. His voice is still and small...I often wondered, back in the day when I first came to The Lord, how is it even possible to have a conversation with God Almighty when, in my mind back then I only saw the "lack" of dialog...since then, wow-He has spoken to me and confirmed many things I was not sure of through...His Word-other brothers and sisters in The Body, answered prayer (ALL OF THEM) Oh from whence we have come! sigh :) My nickle...

What makes you think God is 'immaterial'? That which is truly immaterial could never make that which is even slightly material.

God has "form" (Philippians 2:6), "shape" (John 5:37), is a "person" (Job 13:8; Hebrews 1:3), "image" (Genesis 1:26-27), "likeness" (Genesis 1:26), 'body' (Exodus 24:10), "head", "hair" , "eyes" (Daniel 7:9-10), able to be "look[ed] upon]" (Revelation 4:3), sits on a real throne (Daniel 7; Revelation 4 through 5), is in a actual place called the "third heaven" (2 Corinthians 12:2), has an actual "voice" (Psalms 18:13), etc, etc.

It has everything to do with it, and the texts cited are clear, and not nonsense. To reject their clear statements, is then to be reduced to being a 'spiritist', which phantomizes the substance/being of God (along with His throne, Law and kingdom and dominion), into an aetheral misty perfume, an essence pervading all things (and can even when take to its extreme reduce all reality to the same immateriality), which is exaclty what Panentheism teaches. It places God everywhere and nowhere, and in rock, tree and sky, in the sinner and in satan himself. It reduces God from substance (tangibility) to nothingness. Such a teaching would even make angels themselves omnipresent. Since many carry the spiritist idea on the nature of angels, they do not even understand how possession works. They incorrectly think of it like hollywood (that false wizardic wand of the devil) portrays, where some 'essence' pervades the body. This is nonsense, and again spiritism. Angels are physical, tangible, material beings. Evil angels possess (take control of) the mind/heart through the senses, which when taking the citadel of the mind/heart, allows them to control the body, speech, and so on.

Your ideology is deadly.

1 Timothy 6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called:

it is not false science to accept that matter has been dematerialised and if this is not accepted then one is a materialist no matter how religious/spiritual they imagine themselves to be imho - twinc
