On consideration of the "Little Drummer Boy".
I'm not sure if it's true.
I'm just thinking about how Mary was exhausted from a long donkey ride to Bethlehem to begin with. Then at least several hours of Labor to give birth to Jesus...
Then the shepherds came by (a bunch of rowdy teenagers)
Then all she wanted to do was sleep with the baby...but another little boy comes by and decided that she needed a drum solo?

Three and a half hours to go. We've been watching 'Carols From Kings' which was beautiful but so sad to see the emptiness instead of a packed church. And there were no adult choristers either. The men are the Kings Singers.
