I agree with you Arnie, but the literalist Jewish people, totally disagree. They only recognize the literal. I am sure you can see the same pattern on this board and in the wider Christian community.

I have a Jewish-Lawyer acquaintance who is fairly religious , quite intelligent , not afraid to listen to Christians , but is convinced The crucified Messiah is not predicted in the old testament

But he admits he is extremely puzzled about the story of Abraham sacrificing his one and only son

I think he sees the parallel when God sacrificed his one and only son

I think it might be a sign for the coming of Antichrist and the rebuilding of the temple and temple worship along with a short time of peace and deception. But I'm not sure? Have any of you checked this celestial phenomena?
