My "yup" was in reference to this:

Harley-Davidson, Stung by Tariffs, Shifts Some Production Overseas

(Not the stupid Trump cartoon.)

Although for decades and decades, many parts of all Harley bikes have been directly purchased from foreign countries, they have touted it as being THE American motorcycle. And this stuff they are trying to pull now is not going to sit well with the thousands of patriotic riders who are mainly Trump supporters. They are getting their eyes opened to the fact that Harley was never a "Buy American" company except for when it came to the purchaces of their motorcycles.

Triumphs are made in the far east.
Not really a Brit made bike anymore.
But the company headquarters and ownership is in England.
These bikes would be to expensive if they were made in England.

Ronald Reagan saved Harley Davidson in the early 1980's from going under.

I now lots of Harley riders who don't support Trump.
The news has you fooled on this one!

I said I know them. I'm not the media, lol. :)

I have owned two Harleys.
(Out of 35+ motorcycles I owned since I was 16, now I'm 72, still riding.)

I think they are inferior overpriced products.
But that's a different story.

Many Harley riders have an image problem.
That's also a different story.
