The Dream Thread (desires)

Inspired by @Amazed@grace visualization idea, what are some dreams you would just love to have fulfilled one day? Houses, cars, trips, anything!!! Nothing is too big!!!! Remember how big God is and that we are royalty. <3 Just remember everything is to God's glory, and whatever we get, we should be giving back double to others, because God is very gracious to us. And if my "bucket list" is never fulfilled, I have Heaven, so it is a win win situation. I think there is more opportunity to obtain something if you believe and pray about it.

I would have chose this car instead of my truck back before kids. I had the opportunity, but the truck was a lot more helpful. I would still love to have a bug one day, just love them. But my next car will probably be a bigger one with two kids. Maybe in about 20 years. Lol :)

House is the dream of late. Like a 4-5 bedroom for guestroom too. To maybe foster one day. We wouldn't be able to ever foster where we live here. I just dream of the porch with a swing, looking over the countryside. My husband grew up on a farm and loves cows, that probably cost as much as houses. LOL.

You'll probably enjoy our virtual trip to Disneyland on July 16th then. ;) I've been to Disneyworld before, but never Disneyland so that would be nice,.. I also dream of becoming an author though and you know what they say,...

A man without anger issues and isn't overly critical about everything and a normal house - of my own. Security and comfort.

Other than that, I'd like an avocado tree, or any tree that feeds people, and an unlimited supply of seafood.

A washing machine and a dryer.

I'd like to make a medieval looking wool mattress.

I'd like to play guitar again.

Lots of alpaca yarn.

Gardening is nice. I'd like to grow some rainbow kale.

That's all I can think of!

Hi Mayflower, thanks for the invite, but I'm not really into all this 'dreaming' stuff. I just know that God, our loving heavenly Father will provide all I need but not everything I want.

Psalm 37:3-5
Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this:

Matthew 6:32-34
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

This part just gives me glitter eyes though, that it is okay to have dreams, but I know completely what you are saying.

(If you delight in Him- condition)He will give you the desires of your heart. (Heart seeking God, align with His will. Look at Solomon. They called him wise)

I will always seek Christ above all these things, because Christ IS better then all these things. :)

I used to think Disneyland, but really don't want to step into California.
