5 Every one who is believing that Jesus is the Christ, of God he hath been begotten, and every one who is loving Him who did beget, doth love also him who is begotten of Him:
Verse 1: Everyone who is believing (trust/entrust/faith in) that Jesus is the Christ (Anointed one ~ Messiah. of God
Has he been begotten: Anyone who believes on the Lord Jesus Christ; God has adopted, and believers are now children of God through faith, and believing. Everyone is loving Him who God did (begot) (reborn again by the spirit by turning towards God) ~ God love also him who is born again of Christ Jesus? ~ Through the spirit of truth by hearing the Gospel of the life, death. burial and resurrection.
2 in this we know that we love the children of God, when we may love God, and His commands may keep;
3 for this is the love of God, that His commands we may keep, and His commands are not burdensome;

With the believer, 25 /agapáō ("to love") means actively doing what the Lord prefers, with Him (by His power and direction). 5043 /téknon ("a child living in willing dependence") illustrates how we must all live in utter dependence upon the Lord (moment-by-moment), drawing guidance (care, nurture) from our heavenly Father. 5043 (téknon) emphasizes the childlike (not childish) attitude of heart that willingly (gladly) submits to the Father's plan. We profoundly learn this as we are receptive to Christ speaking His rhēma-word within to impart faith (cf. Ro 8:16,17 with Ro 10:17, Gk text).
