Christ is not the first resurrection. The first resurrection is the first of two groups of the dead to be resurrected.
Do you have corroboration for that? No! That is because you are making it up to fit what you have been taught. That is why you avoid post after post. You have no rebuttal to the facts.

Who is "the first that should rise" in Acts 26:23?
Who is "the firstborn from the dead" in Colossians 1:18?
Who is "the firstfruits of them that slept" in 1 Corinthians 15:20?
Who is "first begotten of the dead" in Revelation 1:5?

When you establish this it will help you establish Revelation 20:6 - that is if you believe in letting Scripture interpret Scripture (as Amils do).

Christ is not the first resurrection. The first resurrection is the first of two groups of the dead to be resurrected.
If CHRIST is not the First Resurrection then our hope is in vain.

But if it is preached that Christ has been raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no resurrection of the dead?
If there is no resurrection of the dead, then not even Christ has been raised.
And if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is worthless, and so is your faith. In that case, we are also exposed as false witnesses about God.
For we have testified about God that He raised Christ from the dead, but He did not raise Him if in fact the dead are not raised.

Guys look to the shadow to define it. The firstfruits offering wasn't one grain, it was a sheaf — a bundle of stalks cut from the field and waved before the LORD on the morrow after the sabbath (Leviticus 23:10-11).

If it was just one grain in the firstfruits offering then the argument could be made that Christ alone was the firstfruit but it doesnt.

Christ alone is the Firstfruits
All who are in Christ are the Firstfruits unto GOD

But now Christ is risen from the dead, and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 21For since by man came death, by Man also came the resurrection of the dead. 22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive. 23But each one in his own order: Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ’s at His coming.

What is tripping you up is the word 'alone'.
In this TRUTH of Scripture, "alone" means that no one can be part of the First Resurrection unless they are in Christ.
Thus why Christ Says: "I am the Resurrection and the Life"

SEE how Christ "alone" is the Resurrection = "no one comes to the FATHER but thru ME"

This is why there is only One First Resurrection = "all whom the FATHER has given ME I will Raise UP on the Last Day"

If all who are in Christ are the firstfruits, that's the sheaf, which is what I was getting at.

Christ was not the only one. Look at what a Paul said.

1Co 15:20 But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

Christ became the firsfruits of them that SLEPT. Slept is past tense meaning after Christ rose, they were no longer sleeping.

EXCELLENT

except for the last sentence

Christ is the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep = their bodies still sleep in the earth waiting for the Resurrection

It depends on which Bible you read, and you'll know which one is right by whether it matches the firstfruits offering.
It depends on which Bible you read, and you'll know which one is right by whether it matches the firstfruits offering.
It does not have to match the way you may be thinking.

Here is the reason why = CHRIST is Alpha and the Omega = the Beginning and the End

Hebrews 12:1-2 = "Looking to JESUS the Author and Finisher of Faith"

Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

I try my best to stick to what’s actually written and not bend it for what I want it to say.
Because I call you and others out on their nonsense? Boy are you gonna be surprised when Jesus cracks the sky open. He brings a sword…

I don’t hate anyone.

Pharisees hated Jesus too, so I’m in good company.

Acts 5:41 (KJV) And they departed from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were counted worthy to suffer shame for his name.

No, because Jesus is the one who resurrects those who take part in the first resurrection.

Jesus is the resurrection and life, which is why people in the first resurrection can come back to life.

The first resurrection is those Jesus resurrects, not a reference to himself and the context of Rev 20 proves that clearly.
