The Four Elements of Bible Prophecy

Bible Prophecy contains four elements.

  1. The prediction of impending destruction.
  2. God deemed that there would be worthy survivors.
  3. God provided the survivors with survival instructions.
  4. It was then up to the forewarned to follow the instructions (an act of faith) to physically survive.

Today we look back at the (Noah) flood as history, but to Noah, the
prediction of the flood was prophecy. So, using Noah’s experience we
can determine these four elements that make up Bible prophecy.

  1. The prediction of impending destruction. God forewarned Noah of the flood.
  2. God deemed that there would be worthy survivors. In Noah’s case it was Noah and his family.
  3. God provided the survivors with anointed survival instructions. For Noah it was the Ark blueprints.
  4. It was then up to Noah to follow the instructions (an act of faith) to physically survive.

Fast forward to today. Do unfulfilled prophetic scriptures contain the Four Elements of Bible prophecy?

  1. Is there a prediction of impending destruction?
  2. Do the prophetic scriptures imply that there will be believing survivors alive at Christ's advent?
  3. Do the prophetic scriptures contain anointed survival instructions?
  4. It will then be up to the survivors to follow the instructions (an act of faith) to physically survive.

Great topic Guy .... and I agree with most of it ...... except not all prophecies predict destruction.

I cannot release all the details at this moment but here is what is next ..... and it is positive in context.... from portions of Psalm 102 ....

12 But you, Lord, sit enthroned forever;
your renown endures through all generations.
13 You will arise and have compassion on Zion,
for it is time to show favor to her;
the appointed time has come.

18 Let this be written for a future generation,

18 Let this be written for a future generation,
Isa 2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
Isa 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the LORD'S house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
Isa 2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
Isa 2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.

Isa 11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
Isa 11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isa 11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing of his ears:
Isa 11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
Isa 11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness the girdle of his reins.
Isa 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.
Isa 11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
Isa 11:8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
Isa 11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
Isa 11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.
Isa 11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
Isa 11:12 And he shall set up an ensign for the nations, and shall assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth.

Most prophecies have a happy ending, the Kingdom of God during the Millenium.
