As soon as you defend your claims that 1700 years of orthodox scholars agree that Jesus has completely fulfilled the New Covenant. Quit dodging your responsibility.
I've already said that you simply refuse to believe my or anyone else's defense.

So now demonstrate your superiority by providing your defense.

Of course, that would be impossible when you have no defense.

Well I will answer as you did.

"I've al;ready said that you simply refuse to believe my or anyone else's defense"

YOu are dishonest and more intent on bringing people down than using this forum to build up the saints. Have the last word and insult. I had you on ignore for about 4 months, I think it is time to put you back there.

To you that may mean nothing, but it is my statement that says I am convinced you lack integrity and a Christian spirit.

Aren't you going to defend Bro. Arnold?

Here's what he said:

"At this point some confusion has arisen as to the relationship of the Church to the New Covenant, because, according to Jeremiah, the covenant is made, not with the Church, but with Israel. Nevertheless, a number of Scriptures connect the New Covenant with the Church (Mat. 26:28; Mk. 14:24; Lk. 22:14-20; I Cor. 11:25; II Cor. 3:6; Heb. 7:22; 8:6-13; 9:15; 10:16, 29; 12:24; 13:20)."

Isn't that worth defending?

After you defend you rclaim that 1700 years of orthodox scholars support your allegation that the New covenant was completely fulfilled by Jesus.

If you claim I won't understand you, then I claim you won't understand me.

So we'll let Bro. Arnold defend himself, which he has done very capably.

Repudiating and humiliating you in the process.

You don't believe his defense.

I do.

And truth prevails.

Just another didge to avoid defending your position. bye bye. You are dishonest.
Bro. Arnold's defense is also my defense.

You don't believe him so you don't believe me.

You don't believe anyone but yourself.

That's the definition of a cult.

It is important to note that if we pick and choose what parts of the Bible is for us, then we are deciding what parts of the bible are real for us and as such we are playing at being God, such we become a cult where we are at the centre of our religious persuasion and that should only be reserved for the Lord God Almighty.

Usually, these people are on opposing sides of a religious disagreement/argument.

Many parts of the Bible are applicable to some and not to others.

For example, the parts which are applicable to those who have received Christ, are not applicable to those who have not received Christ.

John 1:12

You have completely missed the point I was making and have tried to justify your picking and choosing what parts of the scripture that you want to keep.

All of scripture is applicable to each and every one of us at some time in our lives as we ebb and flow in and out of a close relationship with God.
