Many years ago while I had not know their background about their spiritual lives, all of their songs and lyrics was directly speaking to my sufferings but now after all stories were summed up, their lyrics was represents their own sufferings too and they're also talking about the judgemental inside the church, for instance in Bon Jovi lyrics of "You give love a bad name" song.
Too rigid the law applied (circumcision) into our lives will creates a deceitful spirit inside a man's heart (Galatians 5:1-6).
Many of christian singer and band was also wrote a song regarding their own experience inside the church. As a Christ himself had came into earth to not condemn mankind instead of to save them (John 3:17; John 12:47), many high priests were too judgemental to their children instead of giving them clarity on how they should obey God; like a vessel under a pottery maker (Jeremiah 18:1-12). Because if the priests were too many judgemental, it will discouraged them instead (Colossians 3:20-21), many priests were lack of using compassion during the process to shape up their children because too many words could lead to discouragement (1 Corinthians 13:1-13).
We will never be a perfect being as long as we dwells in this human body, but sins had enters mankind since the beginning so whosoever lived in spiritual must be able to stand against temptation everyday (2 Corinthians 5:1-10).
Many of singers and artists were manipulated with the offerings from the world because the world provide them fortune and glory, as what Jesus was also tempted by the devil (Luke 4:5-8). From this reality, it should be a wise that the churches must be separated from political interests and entertainment. Because both political world and entertainment world are the works of the money, where the money are the works of the Mammon/Djinn/Devil (Matthew 6:24), that's why when the churches motives was practiced into a worldly desire in politic or entertainment it will be infiltrated with the envy, greedy, power and pride, etc (1 Timothy 6:2-19). I wrote this for both Catholic and Protestant churches.
This is why did Mammon was also related to Islamic djinn.
