Upon arriving home in the dark and no porch light on our cat meets us at the door ready to go inside . As my wife keys the door she feels something unknown on her foot :Ohz . She get the door open , the cat had dropped a still very alive rat on my wife's foot and the rat runs in the house and cat looks at us like, "oh well " hlf .
Was it winter time?

Kitty and rat could have had an agreement.

I'll get you a place where there's food and it's warm. You keep me in business as my humans thinking I'm necessary to catch you.

* I wasn’t alive in ‘47 but if I had been it’s for sure and certain that I wouldn’t have had sufficient funds on hand to make the purchase. *
That the cereal glowed in the dark wasn't a dead giveaway about the toy inside?

If you had that you in its original wrapper today, you could probably make .30. :tonguewink: :watching and waiting:

Seriously, Id think that would be worth a lot of money.

What happens to the Plutonium after all these many decades though?

My local Racoons eat like kings and queens. Seriously.

They even bring their babies to see me.So adorable.

A neighbor/friend moved to Eagle Rock...a city adjacent to Los Angeles.
She would feed the raccoons and even let one come into the house!

My dog got perfumed by a skunk once.

She didn't take it as a positive encounter with cologne. lol

Thank God for Skunk Off.

And nose clothespins and patience leaning over a bathtub wall. The super thick towel under my chest helped.

Meanwhile my dog ,who hated bath time, looked at me as if I were her favorite toy. :thumbsupx1

Years ago when my Bangladesh friends' daughter was small, we were driving around Griffith Park at night. Sam, her dad, saw a skunk and started to use the car to follow it more closely! He wanted his little daughter to see it.

His wife, my mom and myself all started to squeal like crazy... finally got him to stop. His wife is from Bangladesh too...but she knew about the spraying, Sam didn't!
