Does anyone else love the sound of rain and pretty scenery? I do because we don't get much rain in Southern California. Rainy season is from late Autumn to early Spring but usually it's still dry here. Once in a great while we get an El Nino year with heavier rain.

I had an incident like that. Mom and I were visiting my uncle in Arizona. After a couple of days the friend with whom I had left my two cats phoned to say she couldn't find one cat. It was only to be a short visit but we ended up going home earlier.

Got to friend's apartment....all of us searching high and low. Friend's apartment had these old, very high ceilings. My cat was found laying on a very high shelf in one closet! Mom got on the step ladder to bring her back down.

Funny (funny strange, not ha-ha funny) what you notice: The cop has his gun unholstered with his finger on or close to the trigger. (It should be indexed on the slide.) That's a gross violation of gun-handling safety protocol and a negligent discharge waiting to happen.

We had a Golden Retriever who could do that. Her jaw must've been hinged like a snake's. She could carry a basketball in her mouth.
