I think some idiot made an error with the sign: It should read 'Cafe' and not Cake. I mean how can you eat cake and drive at the same time. Now with cafe that's quite feasible and a very common thing to do, especially when you want to warm up from the cold and use the caffeine to keep you extra alert. Works for me.

I have never received such a Godsent power bill before. Must be something new. Now God is charging us for all the energy we consume that his all his anyway. Seems fair. I wonder which one we might cut back on to cut the cost down in the future. We could stay underground more often and stop using the sunlight and moonlight I guess.

I’m blessed not to be on any meds.
That's really good, Mat.

On that topic, I just started my first blood pressure medication on Monday. About a month ago, I noticed some heart palpitations for two days in a row, which was unusual for me. I've never regularly visited a doctor before; I don't really trust them.

So, when I went with my wife for her routine check-up, I mentioned it to the assistant. He took my blood pressure, and the top number was 202. Both he and the doctor responded by prescribing medication for it. I told them I've never had a reading that high before, whether measured at home with a wrist or arm device. I'll try the medication to see if it can eliminate this new sensation once and for all. If I don't see any benefit after a month, especially if my readings don't improve, I'll stop taking them. For the past 10 years, my average blood pressure has been 140/90, and I've been monitoring it twice daily for years.

140/90 is not terrible, but a warning. Change your diet and stop the drugs. Stop sugar and dairy fat, in two weeks your blood pressure will be alot lower.
