I don't think it was much of a meal...it was unleavened bread with bitter herbs and a cup of wine....which has been mentioned above .

No lamb served this time. If it were it wasn't mentioned.
But then again it said that "He took the cup" took the bread" ...
Good thought Windmillcharger ...there would have been a lamb..it was passover and the one Trie lamb sitting right there...soon to be "prepared" by the high Priest and Pilate!!!
Hummm food for thought.

What would be more significant is what is the Lord's Supper, since the Last Supper also became the Lord's Supper. See 1 Cor 11 (and related passages).

Since Christ our Passover was sacrificed for us over 2,000 years ago, the meaning of the Feast of Passover as well as the Feast of Unleavened Bread has been fulfilled in Christ. Those who now revert to the Passover REJECT Christ our Passover.

I have a Question! OK maybe two Questions, do you celebrate Easter Sunday, as the resurrection of our Savior, 2nd do you celebrate Christmas as the birth of Our Savior, if so why would you condemn anyone of keeping Passover, as a celebration to the One True Passover Lamb, Our Redeemer, came and completed the Feast of Redemption, The Passover is All About HIM! Have you ever witnessed a Passover?

But, it WAS mentioned. If you will notice, it is written that WHEN THEY HAD FINISHED EATING (EATING the traditional Passover meal... lamb, herbs, eggs, prunes?, etc.), Jesus took some of the bread that was already on the table.....

I think the world of you, But, if that was the Passover, then our Savior committed sin!
If our Savior broke, one statute, one Ordinance, one Commandment then He committed Sin! Is that except-able!

On the 10th the lamb was selected, on the 14th it was sacrificed before sundown, and placed in the oven, and then eaten just before sundown, or at sundown.
when supper was ended, he washed their feet! an act of servitude which was not allowed on any Sabbath, and this is a HIGH Sabbath, then after they go over to the Garden of Gethsemane, and then He is Arrested, after sundown and then taken to the counsel and Judged, then to Pilate, then to Haired, and back to Pilate, and at that point the Priests refused to enter the Hall of judgement as to not be defiled, So they could Keep the Passover! The Beauty of the Last Supper was that He Interpreted the Bread and the wine. When was the first time Bread and Wine were Introduced in Scripture! When Abraham defeated the Kings and rescued Lot. This is when Abraham saw His Day, as quoted in Scripture. Abraham rejoiced to see My Day, when the High Priest of Salem brought Bread and Wine to Abraham!

Our Savior came in His Fathers Name, if He did not the will of the Father, and did His own will then!

Well that is exactly the problem. Unsaved Jews -- the ones who really celebrate the Passover, REJECT Christ as the one true Passover Lamb. So it is a sign of rejecting Christ, not believing on Him.
Our Redeemer, came and completed the Feast of Redemption, The Passover is All About HIM!
No, the Lord's Supper at the Lord's Table on the Lord's Day is all about Him. Therefore celebrating the Passover is a rejection of the Lord's Supper.
