East-West Schism, event that precipitated the final separation between the Eastern Christian churches (led by the patriarch of Constantinople, Michael Cerularius) and the Western church (led by Pope Leo IX).
It is the lie of all lies in Church history an event that precipitated the final separation between the Eastern Christian churches and the Western church. In 3 respects here mentioned, 1. That it was <an EVENT>… one event. No, it was a condition, a systemic perpetual corruptness. Pictures to show impossible. 2. That it was <the FINAL separation between the Eastern Christian churches and the Western church.> No, it was a corruptness which to this day is ongoing and only now is reaching the worst of its infestation. Picture 7. 3. <the separation between the Eastern Christian churches…> – Plural, East – <…and the Western church> – Singular, West—, implying THREE BASIC LIES: 1. That the WESTERN Church’ was the Pope’s undivided and only and therefor TRUE church; and 2. That <the Eastern Christian churches> were MORE, and therefore other, and therefore <separated> but although separated, separated FROM the one ‘original’, ‘true’ church, and therefore apostate but STILL and DESPITE its apostacy, the only Roman Catholic, Papal, ‘church’ – at the time. Which brings to the fore the 3rd and BIGGEST LIE of all, viz., Pictures 2. 3. 4. 5. On which to go further into,

26:15… Sultan Mehmed II laid siege to Constantinople with an army of 80,00026:22 men and a fleet of over 100 ships. The Byzantines, reduced to a fraction of26:27 their former strength, could muster only about 7,000 defenders. After nearly 2 months of siege,26:33 on May 29th, 1453, the Ottomans breached the great Theodocian26:38 walls that had protected the city for a thousand years. Emperor Constantine XI 11th, the last Roman emperor, died26:46 fighting on the walls. The Haga Sophia, the church where Cardinal Hubert had26:51 placed his excommunication four centuries earlier, was converted into a mosque. The ecumenical patriarch26:58 survived under Ottoman rule, but his authority was reduced to a shadow. He became in effect a subject of the27:0 Sultan. Far to the north, a new power was rising. Moscow, having embraced27:11 Orthodox Christianity centuries earlier, now declared itself the Third Rome.27:17 A monk named Phylotheius wrote to the Russian Grand Prince, "Two Romes have fallen. The third stands, and27:24 there will be no fourth." Moscow claimed the mantle of leadership for all of Eastern Orthodoxy, reinforcing Eastern 27:31 traditions and deepening the separation from the West even further. The center of Orthodox Christianity had shifted 27:37 from the warm shores of the Bosphorus to the frozen rivers of Russia.27:43
