The whole premise of a "Millennium" is found in Revelation 20:1-6 and the words (Thousand Years) these words are doing nothing more than explaining the Lord's eternal spiritual realm as not having literal time, (Thousand Years) is the expression of a large infinite number, it's that simple

Many that follow Ahmillennialism are wrong in their interpretation, trying to put this explanation into literal earthly terms regarding time

In Love, Jesus Is The Lord

2 Peter 3:8KJV
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

I am not doing that though am I. Its been nearly 2000 years since he uttered the words of Jn 5
God bless.

Once again, the words (Thousand Years) as seen in Revelation 20:1-6 has absolutely nothing to do with John 5 and the Lord's words of salvation taking place 2,000 years ago

As has been shown, it explains the Lord's eternal spiritual realm to the human mind, one day is a thousand years, "No Literal Time" Alpha/Omega

So, what do you believe the point of Rev 20 is?
Seems to me there is a point in time between one form of resurrection to the other.

No future post second coming millennium.

Why do you guys always leave out the part of the bible that specifically mentions the future post second coming Millennium? Rev 20 proves it.

So, what do you believe the point of Rev 20 is?
Seems to me there is a point in time between one form of resurrection to the other.
There are (Two) resurrections on the (Last Day) the righteous are blessed to be in the (First Resurrection) to eternal life, on such the (Second Death) resurrection has no power.

1.) (First Resurrection) To Life
2.) (Second Death) Resurrection To Damnation

Revelation 20:6KJV
Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

The (Last Day) Resurrection Of All Below

John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

John 6:39-40KJV
39 And this is the Father's will which hath sent me, that of all which he hath given me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day.
40 And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.

1 Corinthians 15:21-24KJV
21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.
22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
23 But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ's at his coming.
24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

The (Last Day) Judgement

John 12:48KJV
48 He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

43. Does the term "Amillennialism" make any sense?

No. The term means "No Millennium", but the doctrine teaches there actually is a Millennium in contradiction to their own name. Some online sources claim the term might have been created by Premillennialism as a pejorative but I have seen many Amillennialists say there is no Millennium. See entry 42 for more information.
It just means not a literal thousand years. Nice try with yet another weak argument. Your arguments are a joke. You are just embarrassing yourself at this point with this nonsense.

If the thousand years represent eternity, then how can Satan's little season follow it? It very clearly indicates that the thousand years will end and Satan's little season will follow that, but you don't seem to even acknowledge that for some reason. Why is that?

Revelation 20:3 He threw him into the Abyss, and locked and sealed it over him, to keep him from deceiving the nations anymore until the thousand years were ended. After that, he must be set free for a short time.

Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison 8 and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth—Gog and Magog—and to gather them for battle. In number they are like the sand on the seashore.

Your view of the thousand years representing eternity makes no sense whatsoever if you apply that to these verses.

No, you're just proving that you are unable to recognize the parallels within the book of Revelation. With your ridiculous literal and chronological approach to interpreting the book, you have the final wrath of God coming down several different times.

And you apparently couldn't care less that your interpretation of Revelation 20 contradicts a lot of other scripture as you've been shown many times. But, you stubbornly refuse to acknowledge that and you twist the rest of scripture to fit your interpretation of Revelation 20.

Jesus applies this hope to the here and now...,

Jn 5
24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life

25 Truly, truly, I say to you, an hour is coming and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God, and those who hear will live.

Your quote below applies to the last day Bodily resurrection when Jesus comes to glorify us and eternally separate those who did not believe as we did in the above verse = second death.

[John 5:28-29KJV
28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,
29 And shall come forth;
they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.]

As you can see there is clearly a time period for us to discern just as there is in this...,

2 Peter 3:8KJV
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.

The lord is not slow to come as we count slowness right?

If Revelation 20 is literal how about this verse below?

Revelation 20:3

3 and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

The above verse proves that a literal interpretation is impossible how can there be a literal bottomless pit?

Why wouldn’t it just say he was cast into a pit?

Exactly. It also talks about him being chained up. How exactly can a spirit being be literally chained up in a bottomless pit? It's obviously figurative text being used there, but for some reason Premils insist on taking it all literally.

Whose resurrection was it that scripture teaches was the first resurrection?

Acts 26:23 that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles.”

The first resurrection is Jesus Christ's resurrection. That is what scripture teaches so you should use scripture to interpret scripture here.

Now, look at this:

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.

At what point is it the case that the second death doesn't have power over someone? Does the second death have power over us (Christians) right now? It doesn't, right? So, what does that tell you about who has shared in the first resurrection? Have we not shared in Christ's resurrection by being saved?

Notice that it also says that those who share in the first resurrection are priests of God and of Christ. Are we not now priests of God and of Christ? John says we are here:

Revelation 1:5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood, 6 and has made us to be a kingdom and priests to serve his God and Father—to him be glory and power for ever and ever! Amen.

Using scripture to interpret scripture, you should see that Revelation 20:6 is a current reality and relates to everyone who has spiritually had part in Christ's resurrection for the past almost 2,000 years.

You are saying it is impossible for God to create a bottomless pit?

Literally yes if there’s a literal bottom less pit satan would fall forever and he wouldn’t need to be chained and sealed in. Think about it a bottom less pit is a spiritual state.

The pit isn't a spiritual state. Satan already is in that state before ever being cast into the pit. If it was a spiritual state God wouldn't wait so long to cast him there not to mention he is only there a limited amount of time. Are you consistent with your interpretation?? Is satan not in such a low state after he is released from the pit??

The pit can be bottomless, made by God that way. And no, satan wouldn't need to fall forever. God could place him at any level and keep him there.

The pit is a literal place like the LOF or heaven. It can also be a spiritual place like those other places and be unrestrained by the various laws that affect the Earth.

LOL. So, apparently, what you believe is that Satan will be literally chained up (A spirit being literally chained up? How?) to one of the walls of a literal bottomless pit and he will just be kind of hanging there while he looks down at nothing (since it would be literally bottomless with no floor). And you think this makes sense. Okay then.

Its a spiritual state of being bound by the gospel (the great chain) through the power of the Holy Spirt. It is the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of the people of the church that binds him from deceiving whoever chooses to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

Now the saints aren't deceived anymore because their identity is now in Jesus.

No, none of that is accurate. The pit is a prison for satan and demons etc.

It is the Holy Spirit dwelling inside of the people of the church that binds him from deceiving whoever chooses to accept Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.

None of that is biblical. A figurative chain is what binds him and a lock and a seal keeps him inside.

Now the saints aren't deceived anymore because their identity is now in Jesus.

There is plenty of deception among those who are Christians.[/QUOTE]
