The Most Important Commandment

These Pharisees are getting annoyed by Jesus now at this point and they trying to find some way to trap him. In this telling we see Jesus tell the truth concerning what hangs on the law and the prophets.

Jesus replied, "You must love the LORD(Yahavah) your God with all your heart, all your soul, and it all your mind.* 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is equally important “Love your neighbor as yourself.”

Do these things still apply to us today? I assume it’s of high importance but that’s just me. Faith in the Lord Jesus, helps us love Yahavah and love our neighbor as ourselves because it the spirit of Christ that comes through us, and he is the one whom makes us right with Yahavah. (Romans 4-5)

Jesus did something none of us could ever do! Thanks and praise be to him and God raising him up again from the dead!

Im thankful for faith, in the death, burial, and resurrection of the Lord Jesus and what he did gets us to God.
