Nobody said they didn't...

It is His angels that would obey Jesus' command and take them "to where they do not want to go."

Hmmm...

"And then will (Jesus) declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you workers of lawlessness’" (Matthew 7:23).​

"Then (Jesus) will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels... (a)nd these will go away into eternal punishment..." (Matthew 25:41, 46)​

The Son of Man sending His angels, and they gathering out of His kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace" of Jesus's parable in Matthew 13:41 is a shocking image, for sure, but it's an image, much in the same vein as a judge having judged a defendant guilty and having his or her bailiff and other officers "throw" the defendant into prison.

You must be young. Its from an old commercial on TV for a product called Alka-Seltzer for indigestion. "PLOP PLOP, FIZZ FIZZ, OH WHAT A RELIEF IT IS."

So with their free will they are going to walk into the lake of fire? They've never obeyed Jesus before, but you think they will then? No, they are taken there by force by God's angels assigned for this duty.
