1 Timothy 4it seems all sorts of ways are being accepted and taught but not 'the way' as taught by Jesus - twinc
You get a "Like" for this because it's true.the problem is that most think this not apply to them as they have it right it is the others that have it wrong - twinc
Spend a day browsing the threads of any Christian Forum and you'll find this statement to be true.it seems all sorts of ways are being accepted and taught but not 'the way' as taught by Jesus - twinc
it is human nature to seek its own way, and contests the Way constantly in its heart. there is the Way of the Lord which is Life and everything else which isn't.
in the Kingdom of God Jesus being the absolute power and monarch how is it anyone would think there should be anything that remains in His Kingdom that disagrees with Him, or is contrary to Him, He is the Word correct?
Jesus is the agreement not just between God and His People but betwixt the people themselves and as its pointed out there just One Way to think (hence we are to take on the mind of Christ, as in we are actually supposed to think like Jesus does) the commandments are to be written in our hearts (hence replacing our hearts with what is in God's Heart because we can't escape what is in our hearts. but if God replaces that then we can't escape that either, sounds like a good deal to me) Jesus says the Kingdom of God is within use and the Kingdom of God is where God is.
its plain and simple, Jesus is always correct and we are always incorrect, always, 24/7. and the truth is, that is the agreement that causes repentance when necessary and humility in the Presence of God and what is of God.
the true interpretation is Jesus Christ, and theology is of men.

here we go again - after all that back to square one again as just another way viz 'the kingdom of heaven is within you' this is not and cannot possibly be what Jesus said or meant since the kingdom of hell is within us and we need to get the hell out of it - to call the kingdom of hell within the kingdom of heaven is blasphemy imho - twinc
well then twinc it seems your theology of "kingdom of hell is within us" is contrary to the Word of God expressed in the flesh we know as Jesus the Christ, and what He says is true and anything contrary is incorrect:
Luk 17:20 And when he was demanded of the Pharisees, when the kingdom of God should come, he answered them and said, The kingdom of God cometh not with observation:
Luk 17:21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
the Kingdom of God or Kingdom of Heaven depending on which Gospel you read, is where? and wouldn't that be where God is? and isn't it taught over and over in scripture that the born again have the indwelling of God?
but it seems maybe you are just speaking for yourself when you say kingdom of hell is within us.
